Ummm have you remembered to drop your calories by 10-20 for every 10lb you lose? If you update your current weight under “goals” MFP actually does this automatically for you. So instead of tracking your weight under “progress”, track it under “goals” and you get automatic calorie adjustments.

I honest can’t stand the taste of Quest bars. For cheap brands I can grab at the grocery store I like Pure Protein in double chocolate. I like a nice light carb/protein/fat combo. Just a couple hundred calories worth for a bit of an energy boost. I can NOT eat a full meal, I will feel sick and horrible.

I way everyday, multiple times a day, but it’s more for mentally tracking trends. I only record overall losses. I’m very sensitive to sodium so I like to see how varying amounts in my diet effect my water retention. Or get an idea of how much water weight I retain for recovery on cardio days vs lifting days. Or TOM etc.…

I’m not really a fan of cardio machines, I’d rather walk/run outside, dance or kickbox. But I DO actually like recumbent bikes. I haaaate the regular stationary bike (which is all my new gym has), but really love recumbent bikes.

I love the calorie adjustment. I set MFP to sedentary activity then just track all activity with my FitBit. It automatically adjusts my calories for me and from that I do what I like.

Love that you eat a pound of chicken. People look at me crazy when I say my meat servings per meal are 8-12oz. (Unless I’m eating steak at a restaurant, then it’s always 14oz lol).

Scanning things into the recipe builder would be AMAZING! I love the scanner. I would say that for me it’s accurat 90-95% of the time.

Thankfully in Canada, Thanksgiving and Christmas are 3 months apart. Thanksgiving is a single day so that can be tackled as any other special day, like a birthday etc. Track the calories, don’t pile your plate to the sky etc. Christmas is a bit more difficult because it’s a “season”, so people try to feed you all month. Good god no! I can bloat up to 10lb in water weight. The upside is that I have a revved up metabolism during that time, so after I have a really big weight drop.

Yup! It's my best friends bachelorette party all day today and I've been banking calories all week. Annoyance, disappointment, disbelief, and all around "boo on this"? Sure. But "vitriol"? Im really not seeing that in the responses. Many people here simply seem to believe there are better ways to tackle the issue.
