I would definitely get a HRM and don't forget to subtract your resting calorie burn from your total....when I was doing P90X workouts I might burn 1,000 calories an hour...you might be going at it that hard...just to be on the safe side and not to be misled...anyway keep up the exercising....

Don't give it up....just cut back...are you going to quit eating ice cream for the rest of your life...? I still ate popcorn and hersheys chocolate bars every week while I was losing my weight...just not as much lol...don't let it beat you...learn to control it...

I definately include "cool down" calories in my numbers...you're heartrate is still elevated and you are still burning calories faster than your resting rate...regardless don't forget to subtract your resting calorie burn rate from your overall calorie burn....

I just had umbilical hernia surgery....1 month recovery..then sit ups OK...just get it fixed...1 month wait won't kill you...exercising with a hernia can cause serious complications....

I usually burn about 600 calories when I cut the grass (1 hour)....I know some people tell you there is no way...but I have tried several HRM with the same results (remember to subtract your resting hourly calorie burn from exercise total) Everyone is different...if you have a reliable HRM I say go for it...

I agree....Atkins/ low carb (what ever they call it now) works like a champ....I dropped 40 lbs. in a matter of a few months....then I realized I couldn't eat like that long term...I felt like I was depriving myself of the pleasures of eating....

I agree...that would be a HUGE help....why would you want to waste that many calories on liquids anyway...going diet would open up calories for good food....

Sounds like you're screwed.....I'd quit the job...j/k......I'd take my chances on the small fridge and do sandwiches, yogurt, and salad....Do the people you are working with typically eat as healthy as you...I'm sure you could tempt them into eating out every day for your benefit lol....
