  • OMG you are amazing looking! This is why women should lift. It's awesome for our bones and our shapes. Congrats to you! What an inspiration!
  • I do eat fruit because I feel fruit is good for you. Yes I eat cherries when they are in season as well as grapes. I say it's better than a Snickers bar LOL. But they do have a lot of natural sugar and so I try to think about that when I consider my calories for the day.
  • I LOVE pickled eggs but I don't care for beets. LOL. Anyway they are really good eaten the way they are or sliced on a salad. Yummmy. However - my kids freak if I make them at home. They think it stinks :)
  • 125 miles for June.
  • I love spinning class! However, I wear bike shorts. They have padding in all the right place ;)
  • Thanks for posting these sites! I love trying new recipes.
  • LOVE this. Its been one year for me and its only made me excited for the next year!
  • I'm in and I'm number 198 :)
  • I know I'm simply another person congratulating you but you have done an amazing job. I'm so happy you learned about healthy eating as well as learning about portion sizes. That in itself is so difficult for all of us. Everything in the US is supersized and it's difficult to learn what normal portions should be. Very very…
  • Sounds wonderful - we use our crockpot all the time. In the summer it saves the house from heating up so we use ours all year round.
  • Big hugs to you! I feel the same way. One year ago I started on this group and for complete strangers I immediately felt comfortable and welcome. I'm super glad you feel the same way! We are all in this together and understand this is a lifelong journey so maybe that's why we feel accepted.
  • Bananas. I hated bananas my whole life but I've now added them to overnight oatmeal and protein breakfast drinks. I also hated oatmeal as a kid and now I eat it. I think the key is try new things once in awhile and you may find you like it even when you thought you didn't. Worse case is you still don't like it. No biggie.…
  • Seeing this thread triggered a memory for me. Last summer when I started losing weight and was trying to walk and cut out pop, sodium etc etc etc.....I had the same thing happen. It was so painful that my calves would ache during the day too. I wish I knew what it was so I could help you but I don't. I will say that I…
  • I agree. This morning I used pb2 powder along with vanilla protein powder and 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk and 1/2 frozen banana and 5 ice cubes. Other times I use the Torani syrup as well. My recipe comes out to 255 cals and that's for my breakfast meal. I'm ok with that. I love my ninja to mix them up. I keep it…
  • You definitely are an inspiration. I hope all newbies see this post or ones like yours. However - I really hope they see yours and that this is possible by eating well and walking. People think they have to have expensive gym memberships and they don't! You are proof of that. Congrats to you!!!!!!!
  • I wash my vegetables before I put them in a salad.........does that count??? Ok in all seriousness - I try to eat healthy period. I don't always accomplish it.....I am a well known carb and sugar junkie that I try to keep hidden but she comes out at times. However - you can lose weight and you can be fit and…
  • So glad you posted this........I've been almost a year on MFP and 85lbs lost and man has that plateau wall snuck up hard. However I upped my calories and changed and added some new exercise like yoga and spinning classes and I feel like the wall is crumbling and things are moving again finally. CONGRATS to you - what a…
  • I'm lucky enough to be close enough to work that I often drive home and eat. Saves me from making poor choices :) I love to have 2 eggs scrambled and fresh fruit and a yogurt. I take carrots and celery back to work for a snack. Or I have lots of salad that I make up on Monday night in a large airtight bowl and eat it each…
  • How did they turn out? I have this recipe but haven't tried it yet.
  • I find the sugar free dark chocolate jello pudding cups 60 cals are my favorite. I have NO hesitation about eating them either hahah. I also saw something about taking cool whip and stirring in the PB2 to make a good low cal frosting??? Haven't tried it yet but I have both regular and chocolate PB2 so I will do it sometime.
  • I think I found a twin!!! I am 5'4 and my SW 265. I am CW 180 and my GW is/was 165 but now that I'm at 85lbs it's not quite as much as I think I'd like. I'm hoping for 140-145.
  • I know I know I'm going to be a pain :) I would also like to be on team with SaraAlexendra - we did zombies together. Looking forward to another good one again!
  • Please count me in as well. Thanks!!!
  • I have 2 things I order on a regular basis but if I'm picking my favorite, it's a salad with jalapenos and bannna peppers added to all the veggies plus buffalo chicken on top. So yummmy.
  • Wouldn't it be nice though? LOLLLLLLLL. Sigh. I can't remember the last time I had Lucky Charms. They were always my favorite :) Ok really it was the marshmallows but who cares! Hahhahaha. Instead I eat lean protein, vegetables and fruit. No Lucky Charms all day darn it!!!
  • I made my deviled egg with light miracle whip and mustard and a little pickle relish so there were very little added calories. Today I came home for lunch instead of eating at work and I chopped up two of them for an egg salad sandwhich on whole wheat slimwhiches. I enjoyed it very much! I love eggs and consider them good…
  • Congratulations to you and what a beautiful family. You are truly an inspiration to them and to us!
  • I never thought to ask for the rolls with no rice. I skip the rice when I eat dinner there but now I'm thinking DUHHH. LOL. I have a favorite very spicy roll that I eat which isn't often. So when I do I consider it special and don't worry so much.
