  • YAY good for you both. Sharing cardio workouts will be great for both of you. I also have a trainer and have ridden my bike indoors all winter. Of course I prefer outside but with snowy Indiana at least I get to ride even in my dining room :) I also have an inexpensive treadmill and I use both. Just remember to take it…
  • I went from sweating and being hot all the time even in winter to just about freezing to death this winter. I really wasn't prepared for it, I had figured out how to deal with being hot but I'm still working on figuring out this cold thing. I can tell you that prior to my weight loss I had several instances in hot summer…
  • What???? You mean this won't work for me??? I'm crushed.
  • I'm so glad to hear you say that because when I first realized I no longer had to shop at Lane Bryant and Fashion Bug I didn't know what to do. It was familiar and comfortable......then I realized that was part of the problem. It was too familiar and comfortable :) Since then I can find clothes all over and even cheaper…

  • I've only used mine with vanill almond milk unsweetened. It's 30 calories per cup but my son who wrestles and is always under weight drinks his with skim milk.
  • The doctor as well as the hospital in my community that help with these types programs do not recommend under 1000 cals per day ever. I worked with the dietician from our local hospital and the shakes alone have more calories than what you are getting. My concern for you is this - soon as you eat more than 700 cals you are…
  • One scoop and so far I like vanilla because I mix with unsweetened vanilla almond milk and then make different drinks from there. I like apples and cinnamon in mine as well as a bit of pumpkin, frozen banana and pumpkin pie spice. I also make what I call a snickers one that I use sugar free pudding mix and some PB2. You…
  • I don't know why but this totally cracked me up :) No pun intended. Hahhahahahaha.
  • I went from being a total non water drinker to a 8-10 glasses a day girl. I am much better off and I start with 2 cups first thing in the mnorning before I eat or drink anything else. If I drink that 2 before I leave my house I only have 6 more to get in through out the day. Way easier :) Plus my hubby just bought me a…
  • So very proud of you! I do believe this time you have this in the bag!!!!
  • I bought some in a carton as well and found it digusting. I still have it in fridge staring at me. Sigh.
  • Ouch - I eat these on occasion! Thanks for sharing.
  • I reallllllly hate the sound of people scraping their teeth on their fork when they eat. It's like the sound of nails on a chalkboard to me. I've actually left the table before because I couldn't take it and I didn't want to be rude.
  • I can eat and work out pretty quickly. My hubby on the other hand always feels like he's going to throw up. I believe it's up to you. If you feel fine then go for it! However if you are like my hubby who turns green and feels sick then wait an hour. Just like with swimming :)
  • OMG I laughed so hard I snorted. Ha! Love this.
  • If I am going to eat normal peanut butter then I'm with you. The spoon has to be the decision maker otherwise why eat it? I like Peter Pan and Jif the best. Regular on both. Right now I eat PB2 simply due to the calories. My hubby says I'm a weirdo but hey what else is new........I like it. To me it tastes like fresh…
  • I'm secretly looking forward to the new season of Survivor :)
  • I use walking as a good tool for me. I'm on my feet a lot during the day at work but I still enjoy my time outside or on my treadmill. Thanks for the invitation to join.
  • I have a couple of his episodes saved on the DVR. I did enjoy them but I haven't used them in awhile. I need to get back to them.
  • I agree. I wrote a paper once on how these products make people feel worthless until they buy it and try it. Either way you all know the big diet secret right? Eat less move more. Yep. That's my secret :) I should package and sell it. SIGH. Eating healthy is a challenge but so worth it. I must check out these hairy bikers.…
  • I've done this before and it did work. I have a great day but dinner time I always "feel" like I'm starving. I know that I eat too much at night and I eat larger portions than I should. Oddly enough I set the table for dinner about 10 min ago and I decided to use a smaller plate for me. I think you need to try it and see…
  • I cannot believe this! It totally sounds like fun! I'd like to be on Team Emma as I work as a Certfied Medical Assistant. However, I will play wherever you put me. How creative and fun this will be!
  • Couldn't agree more. I only wish that I had muscles already :) Either way I will get there and I'm still losing fat while gaining muscle so it's a win win. My bones will be healthier for it!
  • Your story is lovely. When I was at my heaviest my husband still loved me (he married me at maybe 20 to 230. Even at 265 he smiled at me and told me I could do it and I would do it when I was ready. Now I am 76lbs less and he is down 25lbs. I do weigh about 10 pounds less than him and when that happened both he and I…
  • Sometimes you have to realize you will be hungry. You will not starve to death if you are eating properly. But - trust me we all get hungry at times and there have been times I've gone to bed hungry. However, normally if I drink a glass of water, eat fruit or gum it goes away. Like the others said if you are eating too low…
  • I frankly don't care how old you are. I'm glad you reached out for help to someone, anyone even if it's us - complete strangers. Please please talk to your mother. Get help - you will be so glad you did. Talk to a teacher or a guidance counselor, someone who can point you in the direction of help. Food is always going to…
  • Honey I'm in! I started at 265 whopping fries oops I mean pounds. If I can do it - anyone can. I promise it's hard in fact it's the most difficult thing you will ever do. BUT - it's amazing because the support from family and friends and MFP friends makes it worth it. I get such wonderful notes from complete strangers and…
  • I was thinking along the lines of adding green pepper or onion or other veggies to the eggs. Maybe scrambled and then use a tortillas or english muffin. They do have low cal sandwhich thins you can use too. These do sound better than the frozen ones in a box from the store that's for sure!
  • Oh and if I could I'd make black bean and corn low cal casserole. I made it last week for the first time and even my picky daughter ate it. That is a winner!
  • What is a miracle noodle?
