  • October lose 6lbs Goal at end 201.6 SW 207.6 GW 201.6 10/8 205.6 10/15 208 10/22 201.6 10/29 201.4 Well I was hoping for a better week but I know full well I didn't get my excercise in. I'm still at goal for this month so I'll take it! Have a great day everyone!
  • OMG that is so incredibly rude. I'm so very sorry for you and I personally feel you are freaking awesome! You keep running and you keep showing your beautiful self to the world. They are a bunch of nasty, rude, individuals who are rasing another generation of rude obnoxious brats. Do not pay them any attention at all. They…
  • I just got mine this week after another MFP friend recommended it. I simply love peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches and honestly it was killing me to eat them due to the high calories. When they told me about this I knew I had to try it. I love mine on low calorie wheat bread with a tiny bit of red raspberry preserves. I…
  • Just added this to the calendar for the week. We usually try to eat one vegetarian meal a week and have had some hits and some misses LOL. Black bean sweet potato chilli was a hit, stir fry with tofu was a miss for my family. This has a lot of promise to it as well all love italian. Thanks for sharing!
  • Thank you!!!! I was just wondering about hot cocoa and how to come up with something yummy but sugar free!
  • I was able to get my hubby to take a walk with me tonight after dinner :)
  • Hi ladies! I've been on MFP for several months and have really enjoyed the challenge groups but I was glad to find one like this that will give support in other ways. I'm 43 and married with an 18 year old son (senior this year) and a 14 year old daughter (freshmen) so we are very busy with their sports and activities. I…
  • What is PB2? Where do you get it???? [/quote] It's powdered peanut butter, just mix with water. Comes in regular or chocolate. Made with peanuts, sugar, & salt. That's it, the chocolate has cocoa powder added. I will admit my very first taste off the spoon I wasn't sure. Second time around on apples or toast and I was…
  • I could not agree more! I love pumpkin. Pumpkin anything. If I hear one more time how good the pumpkin shake at McDonalds is I think I will smack someone LOL. I usually add a little pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice to my coffee and it helps some.
  • I loved it. Thanks so much for the good laugh tonight!
  • Oh I am soooooo excited!!!!! I cannot thank you enough. I found PB2 online and I found several fitness places here in town that sell it. I hope I have enough time on my lunch tomorrow to pick up some! Thank you so much!
  • What is PB2? Where do you get it????
  • Where do I start? Peanut Butter, Milk, Pumpkin Muffins............sighhhhhh.................
  • October lose 6lbs Goal at end 201.6 SW 207.6 GW 201.6 10/8 205.6 10/15 208 10/22 201.6 10/29 Woooohhooooooo one more week and I made it :) I had a really rough puffy week last week so when that was over ;) I really worked hard this past few days. Stepped up the exercise and really kept an eye on what types of calories I…
  • Hahhahahah love it! How did you get my photo? Hhahahaha. Yeah the second one for sure! Geeze who really does look like that first one? Oh wait that girl Elizabeth who teaches the 6am class at the Y. SIGHHHHHHH. Well either way thank you for the laugh. I loved it!
  • I started at a whopping 265 and unlike you I am always butt heavy. I started barely being able to walk out of the neighborhood and now I do all sorts of excercise. I like to vary it because I get bored so quickly. However, once I was a few months into it, the dietician told me to add weights or strength training along with…
  • Congrats! So many of you have posted that you are down to within 1lb or have made the goal. I won't weigh in until tomorrow morning but you all have done such good jobs that I had to say that today :)
  • It depends on where I am. If I am at the Y I think I prefer the elliptical and if I am at home I prefer my bike. I have really enjoyed being outdoors this summer and learning to ride the greenway around my city. I like to mix things up so I don't use the same things all the time because I get bored so easy.
  • Bread, pasta, cheese, peanut butter and skim milk are all things I only eat in small amounts on occasion. I miss them all quite a bit but the calories are just too much. I do eat Aunt Millie's Healthy Choice Wheat Bread but at 40 calories per slice it almost tastes like cardboard LOL. I have replaced pasta with things like…
  • I'm lucky enough to be able to hold myself accountable but that's not always easy. My family isn't always happy with my decision not to have snack foods in the house or eat junk food. I also work with people who are watching what they eat as well so that makes daytime a bit easier. I do use MFP every single day to track my…
  • Completely awesome! Thanks for sharing and being so inspiring and honest.
  • Oh heavens yes! I get mad when people around me have donughts (even though I've never been a big donught eater) or ask me what my big goal is or just some days when they breathe. It's really about refocusing and realizing it's okay to feel annoyed on occasion. It's not okay if you are annoyed all the time though :) In that…
  • SW 207.6 GW 201.6 10/8 205.6 10/15 208 OUCHHHHHHHHHHH! I'm having a really hard time figuring out what is going on over the past few weeks. I was going along really well and then bam out of nowhere I have these weeks where I exercise, I stay under calories etc. etc. and yet I go up and down. It's like a darn rollercoaster…
  • I am glad you asked this. I do use the weights at the Y but when I'm at home I'd sure like to use things around the house. That nerdiftness site is pretty helpful.
  • I absolutely appreciate this more than you know. I started at 265lbs and I still have a ways to go but it helps me to know others have done the same. You look fabulous and you are totally inspirational to me.
  • Bananas. UGH. Just thinking about them makes me cringe.
  • I really appreciate this, I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Starbucks and I love their Pumpkin Spice Lattes. I actually have been staying far far far away due to the calories. I did some searching and you can get the syrup in sugar free and I didn't know that. Hmmmmmmmm this maybe a new treat for me. I use…
  • I was nervous the first and only time I bought it too. However, what I did was sneak into dinner on nacho night. Instead of just strictly ground beef I used the crumbled up tofu and mixed it into the ground beef and once I added the taco seasoning, no one had a clue but me :) My next plan is actually to get some this week…
