My advice...THROW THE SCALE AWAY! Just sets you up for despair. Gauge your progress on your clothes fitting and how you feel.

A number is just that...a number. It is how you feel that counts. My goal number is 250...which is pounds and pounds away. I look at smaller goals along the way..like I am nearing my first one - under 300 lbs. Set the 'little goals" along the way and don't worry about a number

Sameerah, Thanks for the support. i think I'm going to like this site. Nothing like people supporting people. I have had some success in the past with weight loss, but I always seem to "fall off the wagon." It so so mental - you just gotta keep believing in your self! Thanks again for your support! Mike
