Maybe next time you're invited to a BBQ could offer to bring something and then bring something REALLY healthy and load up on that and take a little of the other stuff next time. Of course I have a hard time not taking A LOT of the other stuff b/c it's there, but it's worth a try! : )

I was and still am on it. It hasn't changed my hair distribution much, but the hair loss I was seeing improved after they increased the dosage. My acne improved, it's not gone, but improved. Been on it for about 5 yrs.

My understanding is to MAINTAIN your current weight, if you DON'T exercise, you eat what your BMR is: 14-whatever it is. If you want to lose weight AND you DON'T exercise, eat the 1200 recommended by MFP. I don't know either, but I have done 30DS off and on for about a year now, and I find that I end up breaking it up as well. Mostly b/c of old injuries in my shoulders. I use plain oatmeal and throw in onions, garlic, left over grilled boneless skinless chicken breast, raisins, prunes, sometimes nuts in place of meat... it's savory with a hint of sweetness from the prunes and raisins. Weird, but I just don't like sweet oatmeal. : )

I'm in the same boat... I also found that running exacerbates lactose intolerance. Seriously! So much pain for me anyway. I LOVE the COCONUT milk ICECREAM! It's freakin' amazing and I even prefer it to regular ice cream. : ) I pretty much have eliminated cheese from my diet unless I have some enzymes on hand. I do drink…
