  • I know that I've seen it mentioned on here, but how did you guys handle the huge transition from week 2 to week 3? I plan on re-starting the 5k app in the next few weeks, but I am really not optimistic about the huge leap in running time between those two weeks in the app. Going from 30 seconds of running to 5 minutes…
  • These have kind of become my go-to songs for "Zombies, Run!", so maybe they'll work for you, too. :) "Unbreakable" - Fireflight ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWRJAHaOrYg ) "Burn it Down" - AWOLNATION ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bN5AXq4WvZI ) "You're Going Down" - Sick Puppies (…
  • I kind of wish I had been around when we were supposed to allocate items to locations. I think I would have paid more attention to the items I was picking up if I knew I was looking for certain ones. :( I just started getting into the base-building aspect of the game, and I absolutely love it! I only have 6 missions left…
  • Welcome to the base, Runner Five! Nice to meet you! :)
  • Welcome, Runner Five!!! :)
  • Lol! Nice. :) I need one of those. The truck would come in handy for picking up sports bras, power cables, and ChipotleLab apps.
  • You will get back in there, Amy. :) I honestly didn't know if I would be able to even walk normal again...much less run...when I had my foot injury. It did take a few months for it to get better, but now I've been out walking (with some light running) 2-3 miles almost every day, and everything is wonderful. Good running…
  • Ha! Sam DOES sound like Rory!!! I never realized that. :D
  • Also, during "A Voice In The Dark", this song came on my playlist right after one of the mission chapters. It was like Sam played it just for me. :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGKfrgqWcv0
  • I wish I could do these missions at night. :( I don't know what it is, but I have some weird mental block where I absolutely HAVE to do this stuff out at the nature center or on trails in the woods and state parks here, and they all close at dusk. I don't know why, but I just find myself unable to walk/run with this app on…
  • Just did this mission the other day, and it's easily my favorite one so far. Heck...I think that *I* am even a little bit in love with Sam after that one. :) If anyone EVER saw me out running these missions and talking back to the characters, they would think I was crazy.
  • There are DOZENS of reasons why I prefer being single, but what my situation boils down to is that I am just VERY much a homebody and I'm happiest when I am at home alone watching television or a movie. The most frustrating aspect of the whole thing, to me, is that fact that friends and family are seemingly unable to…
  • I'm excited about both. :) I have a few good friends who use "Zombies, Run!", and it will be nice not having to copy and paste and send a link to them so we can compare missions. But I am *really* excited about the achievements. It will give me a little extra kick in the butt to push myself just a little bit harder. :)
  • I'm guessing that it's a combination of slightly different mission lengths and slightly different song lengths. I've often thought about that, too. I've noticed that I have some songs in my playlist that are a minute or two longer than others, and if the mission dialogue goes a little longer than normal and then goes into…
  • That actually sounds a lot like "CodeRunner"! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6cK0r9rVyo I have it on my phone, but I've been too busy with "Zombies, Run!" to start playing it...
  • While I'm generally a fan of mellower kinds of music, I've found out that having Sam yell "Run, Runner 5!!!!" in my ear and then having it play a Sarah McLachlan song doesn't exactly give me the adrenaline boost I need. :/ So, these are my go-to songs for "Zombies, Run!". They're a little heavy, possibly, but they get me…
  • Thank you, Dragon1ady! :) And yeah, my foot injury was a horrible lesson. And it made me feel older than dirt, which didn't help. :( My new goal (and newest addition to my admittedly-short Bucket List) is to run a 5K within the next few years. If *anything* can help me do that, being Runner 5 can. :)
  • Two Rivers here! :) Nice to see other Wisconsinites on here!!! I am finding out that the week of Memorial Day is a horrible, horrible time to try to start eating better. The main culprit...grilled-out bratwurst. Argh. :(
  • The GOOD song stuck in my head..."Called Out In The Dark" by Snow Patrol. Amazing, bouncy, fun song. The HORRIBLE song stuck in my head..."Cotton-Eyed Joe" by Rednex. Whatever horrible thing I did to deserve having this going around and around and around in my head, I am amazingly sorry and will never do it again. Argh.
