take your measurements after you stop menstruating. that's your real guide, not your weight. you could be a little bloated from your period, but also you could be gaining muscle and muscle weighs more than fat but take up less space.

i'm 5'6" and my goal weight is between 130-140. i have a very athletic build, so even at my fittest i've never been lower than that because of my muscle retention. it all depends on how your body reacts to working out.. for 5'6" the healthy range is 118-145.

Try using resistance bands. They take up little to no room and can give the same results as free weights if used correctly. I would supplement things like a doorway pull-up bar, an 8-12lb medicine ball and a weighted pole (for squats/dead lifts and shoulder press-you can add on velcro weights to it as needed) to optimize…

definitely add dairy/nuts and grains to your mix! and don't forget to take a protein supplement to make up for the lack in that department (you can't depend on just nuts for that-they can be high in fats). also, morningstar farms makes great vegetarian products such as veggie sausage, mushroom burgers, etc. they all taste…

Also get a bike rack for your car if you don't have one! I love to take my bike to new areas and ride.. It makes it feel like less of a workout and more of an exploration. :)

I keep mine open.. I think it helps hold me more accountable for what I eat, even if no one looks at it. It makes me think twice before getting a DQ cone or eating more than one serving of potato chips. Not that I feel people would judge me, but it makes me feel like I want to be healthier if I know others will see it. :)
