 Your post gave me a legitimate reason to search youtube for "cat yoga." I was entertained for some time.

Cupcake, have you considered teaching your kittehs yoga so that they can practice with you? They are known to be naturals: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2bo-IJEK8o

Love how when you decide to do something, you go and do it! Gotta tell ya, I'm mighty impressed by your determination and transformation, both physical and mental. You are strong! Thanks for explaining your success plan!

Yay for yoga! Here is one of my favorite quick, gentle yoga routines. I like that it helps me unwind when I'm tense. And it's only about 15 minutes. :) Gentle Yoga for the Morning, Afternoon or Night! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwbpqP66j4g Another routine I really like is "Yoga for Beginners with Patricia Walden." I…

Would you guys do all of this routine something like two or three times a week?

Love these challenges. You are so creative! Thank you!

Eso, thank you for your evaluation of the POP pilates video for beginners. I'm so used to being instructed to keep my lower back to the floor for many exercises that I didn't realize this would be incorrect in pilates. If you have time, could you let us know if these instructions are good for the neutral back position? The…

Hi all :) I just want to add that I found this video especially helpful for beginners (like me!): POP Pilates for Beginners - Total Body Workout http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCg_gh_fppI

I like your new avi, verdemujer. Good quote. :) eta Verde, you may want to check out Once A Month Mom @ http://onceamonthmom.com/ to see if it prompts any creative ideas for you. :) (Not that I'm suggesting that you cook a month's worth of meals at one time. Heavens! I had a friend who did that, though. But she worked with…

When I first began MFP and tracking food more diligently, I couldn’t help but notice an eating habit that was so obvious it’s a wonder I didn’t notice it before. Whenever a certain person would call, as soon as I hung up the phone I would have an urge to binge—and I often did binge. I had to accept that my interactions…

I can testify. I am extra careful with form whenever I am lifting something heavy. But the last two lower back injury episodes I've had happened when I was doing everyday stuff: sneezing & reaching for a jar in the pantry. (It was a big bendy sneeze, okay?) So I know I need to concentrate on strengthening my core, but I…

From the OP: Thank you for explaining that to us, but really, there is no need to justify your saying "no" to baking a cake. You could have said "no" for any reason at all and it would have been okay with me. Making decisions that prioritize your health and goals while acknowledging your limits sounds like a good…

I'm baffled whenever I read a post about an overweight someone taking up running in an effort to get healthy, and then that person is verbally attacked with name-calling in public as she runs. Why on earth would someone feel compelled to yell insults like that? Knowing that some people behave like jerks (and may always be…

I see from other MFPers that weight loss is not always linear. This realization helps me to keep going whenever I'm at a plateau, or as I've been the last several months, whenever I'm bouncing around the same 5 lb.

Wow! Good job! :)

Oh, good! Thanks so much, WarriorCupcake. I'm going to try this recipe this week. :)
