You have amazing legs. Now I have serious leg envy. Um, or you could just walk more where you like. smh. Walk the beach every morning ... the fluffy stuff. That'll give you more than walking city streets any day. Do people really use words like gastroecnemius in every day conversation about simple walking? lol

I don't weigh myself, but my pants do get really tight a few days before.

Day one maybe just a walk because I'm so miserable ... maybe a run. The rest is business as usual.

The first one outside after a long winter mostly sucks. This is my second week, and I'm still not where I want to be. But hurdling the puddles is fun, right? I'm still mostly shoulder running too. Good luck!

I drink beer and switched over to corona because it *seems* lighter. But since the holidays, I've been enjoying wine and champagne. I have to be careful with the latter because it goes right to my head. I will state however, that I lost definition in my abs from all the drinking. I was probably going out 3-4x week.

OP: work as hard as you want. You won't bulk unless you're eating at a surplus.

I was getting a little crazy with the drinking last year, but I never missed a workout. Frankly, it made the hangover pass quicker. It was much harder to get a great workout TBH, but I did it. I think maybe once or twice I barfed but kept going. That might have been the heat though. I;ve stopped drinking like that, and I…

too much too soon. cut back. new shoes and ..... what helped me was building up my glutes. It took a few months of concentrating on my butt, but that definitely helped my knees (IT band issue).

So what if they are bad calories or not? That's just bad food for your body period. Eat whatever you want, but you won't get anywhere eating that stuff.

I walk and run the beach all summer. Usually running in the am and walking at night. It's truly my fave workout. Soft sand, mud flats and in the water. It's all great. Honestly, I'm never so in shape as I am doing the above.

ahahahahhaaaa!! I was talked out of running as a kid (ugh), and subsequently became a speed walker. I never really thought I'd run because really, I just liked building my quads and running kinda sucked. A few years ago, I was having lunch on the waterfront, and a girl ran by. She just looked so graceful. I wanted to fly.…

Run some hills. Run in sand. Run in mud. But do not run carrying weights.

When I first got onto my cancer med, my calves would ball up like you describe. I was in so much pain one night, I fell out of bed. Ugh. Partially getting used to the med helped, but the other part was eating more potassium and stretching my calves any chance I got throughout the day. Good luck. I know how painful this is…

Like someone else said, only be concerned if it becomes a problem. There's probably something you're overlooking like possible dehydration or maybe you ate something that was off.

protein ftw. I was just slobbing off on a chicken leg last night in bed for this very reason llol
