Seconding all of this. If you do have a few bucks to bandy about, I would recommend getting a food scale and measuring cups/spoons. My dad is allergic to eggs so I grew up on the Hwip. I can't say I thoroughly enjoy it, but tuna salad just doesn't taste quite right to me if it's made with mayo.
