Hello everyone! It's been awhile, I was just reading to catch up. Sorry I've been MIA. We found out the end of June that the baby had passed and I had to have a D&C. So I took some time off from dieting and eat the crap out of my feelings! Now I'm trying to get back on track. So here I am ready to start all over again!

What is your sodium intake set at? I lowered mine to 1500 and really having a hard time not going over. Also, anyone got some advice for this bloat I've got going on? I'm 9 weeks and people think I'm 9 MONTHS!

You look great and don't worry about 3 pounds. You are doing great and 15 pounds is not much. With my first I gained 50! And I really eat well. My Dr. said that some people you can work out and eat awesome and still gain 50 pounds which was my case! Keep up the good work!

Weigh in today was 138, up 1. But that's not to bad. I haven't gain anything so far and I'm 7 weeks so I'll take that. At this time with Kayden I was already up 5 so I can't complain!

Question- I know that I have to increase to 300 cals in the 1st tri. I was at 1200, so should I increase to 1600? I set it at 2000 cause I was not sure. How do I find out what I need to maintain? Maybe I misunderstoond. I thought that sleeping was not the issue, It was sleeping in? Do you get good restful sleep during the week? I would not use melatonin or valerian root unless you were having trouble everyday.

I'm still 142. I took the weekend off, ate whatever. It was Kayden's 2nd b day I knew that I just had way to much to do to worry about logging. So I ate like a COW and the scale today is the same. I work out and count everything, I weigh 142. I pig out, I weigh 142. What gives?

Folic acid is SUPER important if you are TTC. A lack of it causes neuro tube defects in babies. And by the time you find out you're preggo it can be to late since the neuro tube is the first thing that develops. (I have a degree in Neurology.) Oh, I'm so gonna try this the next time! We are going to start trying pretty soon. I to was very swollen and had gained a lot of weight from the pre -e. It's nice to see someone who's been there. I didn't know anyone at the time! Good luck with everything!

Thanks for the input. I'm really not looking for advice, just wanted others to share their story if they have used this site while pregnant. I have an appt with my OB to talk about some things because I'm high risk. I just wanted to see what others were doing. :wink:

What she explained to me was for someone who is technically at a healthy weight (I'm 5'6 and 140) 1200 calories is not enough to loose that last 10. She said that my body is in starvation mode. She wants me to eat 1600-1700 calories AND eat all of calories back from working out (burn 500 calories so 1600+500=2100). I…

I am eating my working out calories. So like yesterday when I went to spin and my HR monitor said 540 (YEA!) I ate 1740 calories. My question is, BEFORE exercise the other sites I saw said that my base is like 1400 calories per day to loose 1 pound a week?

And this is working for you? I'm not getting anywhere and I've been at this since summer! I am eating my calories when I work out. I guess I'm just wondering what else I can do. I've hired a trainer so I hope that helps.
