Yea, I think 1 time per month is to long. I was thinking every 2 weeks. I think I'm just scared to see what the scale says. :tongue:

Yes. I have done it a couple of times. I think I lost about 10-15 pounds. It is VERY hard though. Read the book if you are going to do it. It makes more sense.

Thank you! That's interesting. For the Harris-Benedict equation it says about 1400 calories to loose 1 pound per week. But in this site it's about 1200. So If I'm not eating all of my calories I'm way under! That would explain things becuase my body would be is starvation mode!!!! :ohwell: And I try to eat my exercise…

To add, I would recommend getting one that tells you your calories. This really helps me to push harder when working out. If I'm out for a walk and see that I've only burned 150 calories, I will go that little extra way. :wink:

That's my issue to. Even though I don't have much weight to loose, my tummy is my worst part. After having my son last year it just hangs. Ick!:frown:

Just got done. Total calories 194 :huh: and 28 mins. I thought for sure it would have been more cause I'm beat! :yawn:

Just got done. Wore my new HR monitor today for the first time with "30 day". It was 28 min(including warm up and cool down) and 194 calories. I thought it would have been more (calories) cause I am pretty sweaty. Oh well, still a good work out!

I have the polor F4. You first have to set up your age, height and weight (I'm 30, 5'5 and 137). Very easy to do. This helps to give you where your heart rate needs to be. It will beep if you are not in between those numbers. For me it's 124-164. If you go under or over, it beeps. (this helps me to push it a little more…

I agree! I made "healthy cake" which even though it's only 64 calories per serving, I was really glad to see that it was a hit and I had none to take home!

I wouldn't either. Because even though you know why the numbers are higher, seeing it just makes me upset. I'm a visual person and need to SEE the scale coming down. If that number is up, water weight or not, I would be upset. But that's me. I would wait a week (or even a couple of days) and adjust my weigh in day. Good…

I to seem to loose more inches first. They say that's really what counts anyway. If always found if the scale is not moving, I'm eating to many carbs. Make sure to watch your bread, rice, pasta, etc. Eat more veggies and protein and you should start to notice the weight coming down. Good luck!

Very bad for your heart. I took it about 4 years ago, and now I have PAC's which the Dr. said is from taking it. If I would have know that, I would have not taken it. Messing with your heart is so not worth it!
