Great health is the perfect birthday present!

But at almost 40lbs lost, you probably didn't have anything that fit! Gotta get some new things to show off your hard work and keep you motivated. :)

Kudos to you! That's so awesome!! :)

Where do you volunteer? Since moving to the UK I have really slacked off the volunteering I used to do through my local Kiwanis club. I miss it!

That sounds like an AMAZING goal reward. You could always put $5 for every 1lb lost into a glass jar and watch it grow larger as you grow smaller. You could tape photo of a spa retreat onto the jar as a reminder of your goal. :)

Great attitude! Keep up the great work!

While playing with her Mrs. Potato Head doll, my niece looked at it and then at me and said, "Auntie Susan you look just like Mrs. potato head." You are what you eat I guess, and carbs are my weakness. Still harsh to be likened to a round, dense starch. Ouch.

Wow! Great work! You could pass for a college freshman!

I logged ALL of the delicious food I ate at a group breakfast for dinner potluck. In the past I would have just taken the easy way out and not logged it, as if it never happened. I also worked at my max effort in spinning BEFORE the potluck. And, I came home and walked the dogs about a mile AFTER Dinner.

I lost 9lbs in a week doing South Beach. I was miserable and apparently quite mean. As soon I a carb touched my lips, I immediately gained the 9 back and then some. So not worth that roller coaster. And eliminating certain food groups is never a good idea.

Visible success for sure! Keep it up!

The first week in May I started strong and was 2 days from starting level 2. Then I had a really busy weekend and missed to workouts. 2 days turned to 5 and so I started over at level1 day 1. After that I have yet to fully commit to it. I have always struggled with the dance cardio. I had a great pool workout one day and…

Smallerbrides- July 7th as well. I'm hanging on to the word "yet" as well! Definitely hear you on not losing your mind yet wondering if a short term change up would be wise. South Beach = me as a cranky B missing carbs, and then ballooning a la Nutty Professor when they touch my lips again. Hungergames32- join up! We can…

Used the BMF about two years ago. Liked it a lot except for the fact that it was uncomfortable to sle in and it scarred my arm.
