Your body, your life, your rules As long as you are getting enough calories and maintaining a healthy weight and aren't exhibiting symptoms of your ED, I say keep counting and weighing. You can do it for as long as you like. Sure one day you might get to a place where you can eyeball portions, and if not, no worries, but…

Another thing is dealing with people who know I'm trying to lose weight who pressure me to join Weight Watchers or lecture me for not eating/drinking diet or low fat versions of foods. I just had a salad with bacon and goddess dressing and I'm under on cals on macros with no fiddling around to come up with points.

For me it's dealing with the slow progression. I like instant results and sometimes it seems like a never ending drudgery of watching what I eat, dreading going over my limits, and exercising on days when I'd rather be lump. Most of the days I love what I do but I do wish I could get my dream body faster.

Yeah, nicely played OP, nicely played

Dang dude, impressive. Good luck in your competition

My SO complains that I don't want to eat pizza anymore

Your coworkers comment on how you're on a health kick and how they never really see you eat junk food anymore.

I love that you mentioned the Tardis and for some reason your shirt reminds of Daenerys, and I probably spelled that wrong

If his neighborhood is safe enough for that I think it's great and he's awesome for getting out there and getting his jog on. If I trusted people more and watched the news less I'd be one for going on night walks/runs. No sunlight, cooler temps, less humidity, less people to feel self conscious around. My friend's aunt…

1-I have an extra bone in my lower spine 2-I dislike Winter and being cold 3-I like humid days because it makes my hair look awesome and full 4-I love Drusilla from Buffy 5-My birthmark is on my bum 6-I hate the mint and chocolate combo, but I like them separately

I think low body fat is unattainable for most people not due to genes but most people aren't willing to put in the work in terms of exercise or diet to get really low body fat. A lot of people also think that because they don't want to have one extreme that it's okay to end up on the other end of the spectrum.

I don't know about the size of my bones but I have a wider frame than a lot of women. I have broad shoulders, a wide rib cage, wide hips, and big quads. I've had a dietitian tell me that being "thin" was not in the cards for me and to focus more on health and not so much just one number. So I don't want to be a size 2 or…
-
Instead of focusing on a number, why not focus on being healthy. When you get to a point to where you look and feel great, clothes fit great, you have confidence and energy, and you have the muscle tone you want, and you're medically healthy, that's your goal weight. The number isn't that important but if you do have a…

Losing so much blood? It's your period not a stab wound. Your period isn't a valid reason to not exercise and it doesn't make you more likely to injure anything. You might have to change your pad more but stained laundry will be the worst of it.

Why is it daunting? Maybe you won't be on MFP forever but even just writing it down to see what you ate can be helpful. Don't let it be daunting and off putting. Let it be empowering. You're taking control and keeping tabs on things.

Go to youtube, FitnessBlender, XHIT, and BeFit are good channels to start with. If you don't mind female trainers, I'm really really enjoying Jessica Smith's youtube channel she also posts a plethora of stuff. They have a lot of videos of differing types and lengths. Just click around youtube to see what workouts are…

I think it depends on who you are. For me, logging seems to be pretty feasible for a long term thing. I don't always stop drop and log right when I eat, but I do like to keep a pretty good track of what I eat and how I feel. Will I be logging 5 or 10 years from now, who knows, but I do think faithful logging in the…

Might be cool. If not my bf and I can just sit there and make fun of it. I tend to like super hero movies though and Supes is pretty easy on the eyes.

I've done 30 Day Shred and enjoyed it and I'm doing Ripped in 30 and I really like that too. I like RI30 more bc I have the DVD and can do it all over my house and not just on my monitor screen on youtube. Both are great programs so do whichever you can get your hands on.

I like feeling sexier in clothes, worrying less about which top + which pants = minimal muffin top, and I like passing a mirror in my skivvies or less and seeing some muscle tone and thinking, "Hey sexy" and I'm getting more flexible with less tummy in the way when I do yoga or get intimate with my SO.

I think BMI is a good starting point and can kinda clue a person in on if they need to look into making weight changes but it's not perfect. It's like trying to paint an intricate statue with a wide brush, sure most of it will get painted and most people fall pretty neatly in the categories, but there are going to be…

LOL I'm happy for him and I think I'm one of the few women who doesn't want a thigh gap at all

For me, I like the variety and that I go from HIIT, to belly dance, to yoga, to weights all in my bed room or living room. I like not having to pay a gym membership that I really can't afford, having to deal with getting dressed to go the gym, dealing with people at the gym or gym music or gym germs, or gym staff. I can do…

I had a pretty vivid Game of Thrones dreams. I don't think they are insane or anything but it's fun how vivid they are.

I think, or hope anyway, that most of us know that with eating well and working hard we'll create the best versions of our own bodies that we can and that for most of us looking like our celeb idols is unrealistic but as long as we're realistic it's fun to work with a goal in mind.
