  • This chick has super long hair and talks about how she does it for the gym. Hope that helps. I don't have long hair yet but this might have some suggestions in it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVwOvhvA93k
  • I saw the Ariel, it looks fun. I hope you do okay in the skirt, looks like it'd be hard to walk in. For the Britney look, will you have the snake too?
  • Awesome, I was almost Artemis one year but I don't know where I'd get a bow and arrow since I'm not an archer. I hope we can get a pic thread going too closer to Halloween. If I do a Game of Thrones, I'm not sure who or what I'd do as there aren't very many black characters on the show and as of right now, we haven't seen…
  • My plan is to follow my eating plan and stick to my calorie goal of 1400/1600 and keep up my exercising. I don't have an actual exercise routine. I wake up, assess how I feel, decide what I feel like doing and which dvd I want to do, and then I get to it. But I think I'll try to stick to doing my higher intensity stuff on…
  • Hello Lovelies! I'm Britt, I'm not too sure of my weight right now, my hormones are running amuck. But I'm 5'5", 27, and up for losing and seeing just how much I can lose by Halloween. I'd love to be super sexy by then!
  • I hate running, I don't do it much. Cardio kickboxing is fun, go to youtube and find some workout videos on there and see if you like them.
  • Sorry to hear about your knee. I hope the surgery, if you have to have it, goes well. Can you do some things like pilates or low impact cardio? I saw on youtube this instructor I like, Jessica Smith, has a chair cardio/strength workout. You might like that and be able to workout without stressing your knees.
  • I agree with this. It's not cheating but it is a weight loss enhancing tool and I think it's a little annoying when people have WLS and go on about how they lost weight without being honest about everything that went into it. If you want WLS go for it and to hell what anyone thinks. If they think you cheated, so what.…
  • I feel bad for people who actually believe this. I love a good barre workout but there is no magical workout and doing barre workouts alone, even 6 days a week, won't give you a dancer's body but they can be a helpful form of body weight training.
  • That I have to run to lose weight That I should be on a diet that's far more restrictive Not to eat before going bed, no matter how hungry I am, because it'll all turn to fat That I should be 125 pounds That focusing on body weight training won't help me change my body
  • yeah...this... Personally, I say there's no age limit on either, go and have fun and yay bounce BUT since it's a town thing and you have to deal with the public and society's norms...I'd just stick to face painting and do the bouncy castle at a more private thing. Or, can you borrow a friend's or relative's kid for the day?
  • I weighed for the heck of it and was up by a LOT. I'm not sure if it's water retention from hormonal flux and exercising, I have being body weight training, or weight gain. I might try again in a few days after not having quite as much sodium and maybe see how I can do with weekly weigh ins, just so I can keep track of…
  • I'm alright. I'm obsessed with ballet and bar workouts. I love the ones that incorporate weights, cardio, kick boxing, and more yogic things with it. The only downside is the bottoms of my feet get tight and sore but I guess there are muscles there too that are working hard like the rest of me.
  • My SO doesn't mind it because I've never used it for flirting or engaged in any of that type of stuff here and I have a fairly private profile here. I didn't come here for that and I have other smaller places to show off any changes in my body. But I've used MFP as a wonderful tool for nutrition advice, exercise advice,…
  • XHit on youtube is another site for workouts, youtube in general is.
  • I've checked, it doesn't have wheel breaks.
  • The wheels scare me. I don't trust it not to roll away when I'm leaning on it lol
  • In some cases it's bad horrid unfair terrible and sucks. In others Im glad it happened because Death can end a lot of suffering and pain. For myself, Im in no big rush to die, Im 27 and I hope it's not a painful or tragic death but part of really believes that to die will be a really great adventure.
  • This, because plus sized models still have to fit into the fashion world and it'd help to be on the taller side.
  • That was a good article. I just wish that women and men too would focus on healthy. If you want to be thin or muscular or still a little heavy just focus on being healthy. It is true that you can't really pack on muscle and stay "skinny" without doing a lot of drastic things to really drop body fat and I feel sorry for the…
  • Both? I'm losing weight because it is making my health suffer. I want to lower my blood pressure and fasting blood sugar and waist circumference and over all body fat. I'm also losing weight because there is a certain look I'm after and I'm not going to get it without losing weight. So both and one reason is no more valid…
  • I did a hard cardio/strength interval workout with a lot of jumping and while I wasn't perfect at all the moves, I did them to the best of my ability and feel like I can get stronger and more fit.
  • I like to try to keep to healthy eating on weekends and use them for really intense workouts since I won't have work or anything. This weekend I plan to get in some time with Jillian Micheals and trying to stick to healthy eating.
  • I'm at 206 and I'm 5'5" I know...I know...I'm an inch over but close enough and over 190
  • I will count water and herbal teas as water. I sometimes count green tea as water but I'm a bit iffy on that one due to the caffeine. If I add things like crystal light or Mio I don't count it as water. I also don't count milk, juice, soda, or anything like that either. I count the calories or everything and I list the non…
  • Maybe I'm an odd duck. I like to switch things up. I like to go have a mix of all different sort of exercises in a week, some from systems and some from stand alone workouts, some time on the treadmill. I'm getting Insanity soon and I'm not sure if I'm ready for it or not but I'll try it and see how I do and if I like it.…
  • I walk 5 to 6 miles a day in steps at my job. This might be fun. I'll fiddle around with it when I get home.
  • I second this. It seems you're better off focusing on really good nutrition and eating foods with body cleansing properties and drinking a lot of water. I really don't see the master cleanse being good for anything health related.
  • This! I have a few friends who are naturally small framed and naturally thin and have childhoods spent doing gymnastics, ballet, and ice skating,so yeah, they are really healthy gorgeous size 0 and one's even a 00. That works for them. That's not my body frame at all so for me, I don't think it's healthy or attainable but…
  • Someone isn't a jerk or a bad person for not finding xyz trait attractive. If I got pissy every time some one didn't like chubby girls, black girls, girls without long hair, short girls or whatever, I'd spend my whole day upset about things I can't change. Not matter what you are there will be someone who likes it and…
