  • Hello everyone! Just got the invite, never been in a group on MFP before. I'm Jennifer, a 24 year old female from Duluth, MN. I'm a Computer Science major, Math concentration, with a Music minor. That's not geeky at all... ;) I don't RP or LARP anymore, but I used to be into Vampire: The Masquerade when I was 14 or so. I'm…
  • It sounds like you should switch gyms. I'd get frustrated mighty quick with that kind of treatment.
  • Why do you hate this? I have a hard enough time running in sunblock, much less makeup. When you're there to bust *kitten*, you don't need to look cute. Who cares if your workout shirt is grungy. It should be. If you're not sweating, you're not working hard enough.
  • I'm a huge fan of Skyim, FFIV, Super Metroid, Eternal Sonata, etc...so I guess Adventure/JRPGs! I have to find time to game, else I lose my mind with all of this "reality" stuff constantly getting in the way.... Oh god, I forgot about Pokemon. I just restarted a game of Pokemon Black. I've been playing that series since…
  • I drink four Coke Zero Cherry's a day. I know, I know. I have a problem. I quit smoking and replaced it with diet soda. XD However, it hasn't impeded my diet/function at all...and I run 5x a week, averaging 25-30 miles.
  • I do the same thing, haha! I ran on an off day to make up for the fudge pop from last night. ;)
  • What helps me is a cup of cottage cheese with chia seeds. The chia seeds will swell in your stomach within a few minutes, helping you to feel pretty full. I put them on everything - toast w/ Nutella, peanut butter English muffins, etc. They really have helped a lot. I'm coming off of hormonal BC myself, so every day feels…
  • From what I understand you need to be at 1,200 calories or your body will go into starvation mode. I see you're around 900-1000 daily...amp it up a little! Garbanzo beans are a great way to get protein, and they've got a little calories to them, so it would help you out in many ways.
  • I try to run five days a week. If I do any less, I start to lose the "feel good" effect of it all. ;)
  • Welcome! This site has proven to be very helpful for me...it really shows you what you eat! It's amazing how many calories we think we're consuming, and what we're actually consuming. I just started a few weeks ago myself - feel free to add me! I'm looking for support as well! :)
