EM2WL works for everyone! Most throw in the towel after a couple of weeks/months when they haven't seen instant results. So glad you are pushing your calories higher to determine true TDEE, you will not regret taking this time! Ichel Team EM2WL

Oh I am SO happy when gardening season comes around! Still my favourite form of exercise! (aside from weights of course!) Ichel Team EM2WL

Yes, totally! Having a little of what you want is a great thing! Restrictions only lead to binges in the long run. Plus feeling full and satisfied from all the protein helps too. This is a wonderful NSV! Can I quote you and share with the rest of the fam? Ichel Team EM2WL

Hi @pitbullmama1 Glad you joined our group and I hope you will find it helpful and supportive. After you go through all the stickies at the top of the group and have any questions, please feel free to ask. Ichel Team EM2WL

Hi @CorinnePina Yes, your nutritionist is totally right, not eating nearly enough. Eating below your BMR means you aren't eating enough to sustain your body if it was in a comatose state. Have you checked out our calculator to see what you need to work up to for your maintenance or TDEE level?…

Yes all the calculators etc are just a guide in the end. It's great that you are taking your time and pushing and gauging your TDEE for yourself. I found that Fitbit under estimates my TDEE by about 300 calories, most days. Don't you love eating more? So much more room to get in the nutrient dense food plus all your…

My hands and feet used to be freezing all the time when I wasn't eating enough. So much warmer now I am eating the correct amount. It's one of the first signs that a lot of people notice when they are repairing their metabolism. Warmer hands and feet and more energy. Ichel Team EM2WL

Awesome! Fantastic strength gains! Keep going, you're doing so good! Ichel Team EM2WL

Hi! Yes you will find excellent support in this group with plenty of excellent eats going on too! ;) Ichel Team EM2WL

Hi Christina! I know this will come as counter intuitive, but one of the reasons why you are finding it hard to lose weight is because you aren't eating enough! Even if you took the maximum cut we recommend (15%) you should be eating 2003 calories. I would recommend adding 100 calories per week to get back up to at least…

Yes, EM2WL is active everywhere, so I guess sometimes it just seems a bit slower here. I think I saw you in the CTDM community facebook page though, right? Ichel Team EM2WL

Awesome! Progressing along nicely! Thanks for the update. Ichel Team EM2WL

Glad to see you back! You are totally doing the right things. Focus on one change at a time and do that consistently until you nail it. Making sure you hit your calorie level every day is you priority. Do this consistently for a few weeks before starting the next habit. But, sounds like you know all of this, right?…

Hi Syma. I would recommend doing a metabolism reset from what you say about your past. http://eatmore2weighless.com/the-metabolism-reset-guide/ You can find out your numbers from our calculator here http://eatmore2weighless.com/weight-loss-calculator/ Plus, I would recommend going through all of the stickies at the top of…

Hi Camolovelady Welcome to the group! Don't worry about all those things in the past. EM2WL is all about creating a lifestyle that works for you and your life and is sustainable and maintainable. I would recommend starting by reading through everything, either all the stickies at the top of this group or with this…

When we talk 40/30/30 it's 40 Carbs, 30 Protein and 30 Fats. That is our recommendations, not the 40p/30c/30f that you mention. Curious as to how you got put on this diet? Was it from your doc? Ichel Team EM2WL

I'm all for putting the scale away! Especially if it is beginning to control your mood. Just make sure the once a month weigh in doesn't control your mood as well, and know to weigh on a valid day i.e. not after high sodium, TOM, retaining water etc. Maybe it's time to dig deeper about your mood connected to the scale too?…

Have you used our calculator to work out your estimated TDEE? http://eatmore2weighless.com/weight-loss-calculator/ Ichel Team EM2WL

So glad to hear that you have an increase in energy already! One of the great benefits of increasing calories. Let us know how you get on while increasing the calories. Can't wait to hear! Ichel Team EM2WL

LOVE THIS! And oh yes, the mental game keeps on going! Getting on the right side of that will keep you pressing forward when all else seems to be bleak. Incredible drop in measurements! You are killing this cut! Learning the practice of patience, guess what? Yup! It requires patience! :D Keep on going! I cannot wait for…

@FaithSevio Made some fantastic and dramatic changes already! Love that your energy is through the roof now! Keep pushing forward, things will keep getting better. Ichel Team EM2WL

Look forward to reading your updates. Ichel Team EM2WL

Love your plans and how you have motivation too. I would chime in with a couple of things 1. I agree with Heybales that I think your TDEE still sounds a bit low considering your martial arts. When I do strength training, I don't calculate the time I rest during sets etc, it's just the time of the workout from start to…

Woo hoo! Awesome! How does it feel? Ichel Team EM2WL
