I am thinking of trying it this year. Trouble is finding the time to get that done plus working on my other novels. Busy busy busy! :explode:

Lots of long pieces of advice when it's simple. Have a snack. Take on with you, eat it on your way to work or whatever works for you. An apple works great, a banana, even healthy protein shake if you like. If you are hungry... Eat. Simple, easy.

You look fab! And congrats on your victory. I love when people I haven't seen for a while do a double take. I haven't lost enough to have anyone not recognize me, but I can imagine how epic that would be. Great job! Keep it up! :drinker: :flowerforyou:

Normally I would say this is harsh. However, I live with my husband's family right below me. They are judgmental, critical and what I would consider a family of lower life forms. Sounds harsh doesn't it? But you can't have conversations with them, they don't want to live in a clean environment or eat healthy. They whine,…

Funny thing is that I never really thought that I had "broken". I was always upset over my weight, it was building and building. I did try to start eating right on my own, but I didn't weigh myself or have anything to guide me. Then I was just chatting with a writer friend of mine. He told me about this site. I was…

^^^ This. Personally I can't stand the taste of raw milk. I've had it, right form the cow and everything. However, I think that as long as we understand the risks for ourselves, then we should be free to eat or drink what we wish.

First off, how fast your skin retracts depends on your age, and genetics and how much your skin has been stretched. Sure there are creams out there, but I haven't found anything that is a magical fix. Unfortunately. What I do know is that the key to helping your skin retract is three parts. #1 keep your skin…

SW: 230 CW: 209.2 GW: 204 Or maybe less. Weigh in Dates: 8/1 - 209.2 8/8 - 208.3 8/15- 204.6 8/22- 203.3 8/31- 201.9 Total weight lost: 7.3 lbs YAY!!! :flowerforyou: :smokin: When I reach my goal weight? Truth be told it's still unreal that I might actually get there, so I haven't decided on anything big to reward myself.…

:drinker:  This is a real man. Though I feel sort of odd that I can relate to a bunch of guys. When I work out, is it bad that I think about kicking *kitten*? (if the need ever arises, I am after all just woman and I don't like fighting.) I ain't no tiny frail girly girl who waits for men to protect her.

I guess, it's about being tough, both mentally and physically. The way of the warrior and all that. It's about pushing yourself and knowing that if you ever need that little bit of extra strength to handle something horrible, you have it. I won't be the type to run and hide, or fail because I was too weak to get through…

Use Ice. Keep it elevated and take an anti inflammatory like ibuprofen. Unless it causes you pain I wouldn't worry, but if the swelling is really bad, best thing is to go to your doctor. Good luck!

So drink your calories. Seriously there are tons of thing you can do. Eat calorie dense foods like nuts..... drink orange juice. Or have a smoothie with lots of yummy veggies and fruits. If you have one or two days under it won't kill you. But if it's a struggle to get the volume of food into you, then make sure the food…

#1 change it up. Change how many cals you eat, lower or higher to "confuse" or "trick" your body into losing. Also changing up your workouts, you know, if you swim all the time, then start jogging, or boxing. Or if you want you can just try amping up your workouts. #2 watch your macros. Your carbs, fat, ect...ect... keep a…

Hey thanks everyone. Yeah, I was having a really bad time when I posted this. But funny thing is, after I went to the second party on Thursday, I realized that she was just worried one day I would be the thinnest of the kids. Which has always been her honor, though she was never really healthy, just smaller than the rest…

My brother in law is paraplegic and is always struggling with losing, because he can only move one arm well and the other was partially paralyzed by a stroke. So he eats very little calories a day in small meals throughout. Problem is that the caloric level of a person in a wheelchair is different form a person who moves…

lol...nice joke. It is a joke right? I mean, it's like walking into McDonalds, ordering a large BicMac and then sitting down only to complain about the people that are eating at McDonalds. Seriously? :noway:

First, I would say right off that you should eat more calories. Netting 450 a day is really low. Depending on what class of thinking you come from, the fact that you are plateauing is telling you something. If you are indeed burning 1200 cals a day from working out, then you need to, in my opinion eat at least half of…

:noway: I don't understand why people who are at a healthy weight feel they have a right to tell "fat" people they need to lose. Though I find that usually people embittered against "fat" people are unhealthy or have an ED....so I can't say one way or another. You may just be rude and ignorant. Losing weight and becoming…

Bump, to try! This sounds good!

^^ This. I would actually want to build a bit of muscle, to get that fit and strong look. But that is my ideal, not necessarily yours.
