All I can say is AMAZING transformation!

Fo sho! Definitely gotta rock the black suit, black tie, and definitely can't forget the shades. B-)

It's pretty cool to see locals here.

I started working on my weight at 357. I'm 255 now. I look better, and started noticing at around 30-40 pounds off. Although I look better, I still feel like that ugly fat person at times. It's hard to shake that mentality that you're the heavy one. I have been down to 185 in my past, and I know I will get there. All of…

I ate Paleo for a while, got off track though, being lazy, not cooking enough food. I'm getting back on it. I like the nutritional aspect. I never was a fan of breads or dairy stuff. It suits me.

Measurements, take measurements. I once saw a woman who only lost 3 pounds over a year, but her muscle tone was through the roof, and definitely more fit after a years worth of strength training. Like the other said. You could be gaining muscle while losing fat.
-
Impressive. It's good to hear other females embracing lifting weights. I wish some of my friends who have eating disorders on this site would be open to try something new like this. Congratulations to your success here with proper diet and strength training.

Kind of worried about that. When I'm done, I will have lost nearly 200 pounds (over half my body weight). 33 here. Don't know what to expect. May want to talk to a doctor. Some need the excess skin removed through surgery.

Yeah, basically, it's people who are insulting. I can take the heat. I've been dealing with haters all my life. This is no different, but I will warn a bitc_ if she gets out of line. If they won't stop, yes, I will, and have reported people. I've been lucky to not have anyone threaten me.
-
That's awesome dude!
-
Dude, don't play the blame game. I was with a really attractive woman not too long ago. She definitely supported me when I was working on getting healthier. I just ate what I wanted, and she ate what she wanted. Do what you need to do for YOU.

I read something one day in a self help book. Often times, people cheat because their other is looking for something that you are not giving them, and you are too stupid to figure it out through communication. Then again, you could have possible married a promiscuous person. My friend dated and married one. Not pretty…

You have to just push through. I used to hate it, but now I love it. Work out 5-6 times a week for 60-90 minutes a day.
-
I think it depends on your type of daily activity. Since I am sedentary at the office all day, I would get a HRM to help me better estimate my burn while at the gym. Fitbits help with all day estimations.
-
Yep. That's why you're on my list as well.
-
Request sent. No half stepping it here.
-
Yep. Grunted on my last set of my incline and regular bench presses tonight. I increased my regular bench press by 5 pounds though tonight. Very happy with that. I didn't even see if anyone was looking. I had Pandora cranking out techno in my headphones. I don't give a flip what anyone else thinks.

Deltoids, abs. I love to work out everything.

I am very active in real life, and active in the news feed. Is nice to have other active friends who comment on each others stuff. Isn't that what having friends on here is all about? What's the point if they never say anything to you?

You know what? My favorite bread is called Italian Twist bread from the Orlando Baking company. You can only get it in the northeast United States. If I lived there again, I would be eating up some ham sandwiches. Eat what you want, drop the people you don't think are good for you. It's all about making life changing…

After 6years of being in a horrible relationship, yes, I'm single for V day. Although being single can be lonely, and a bit sad, I would rather be single than spend another day in my past relationship. Best decision I ever made. I'm happier now, and when I finish this transformation, I will feel comfortable wit myself…

I can tell you that taking the time to learn to separate food from emotions can help quite a bit. I know we all have foods that we know taste great, and we associate pleasure with that. Try eating some foods, then log it. Look at your calories left over. Try to remember that food is really only fuel for our body. It's just…

Unfortunately, feeling a bit blue doesn't motivate me for ish. My motivation comes from remembering who I was, and knowing I'm getting that person back.
-
Damn skippy. Go get your food back. If he wants different food, let him get it. If he likes whole milk, get skim AND whole milk. Leave a half gallon of each in the fridge. I would be pissed as hell if my girlfriend threw out my food. Then again, she never would do anything like that. We kept food of each's liking in the…

+1 lol

If it works for you, go with it. I need a small amount of calories before if I work out in the morning, but to each his/her own.
-
It all depends. I work out pretty early with a friend starting at 6:15 AM. I'm not a morning person, so having someone else get up to do it, means we depend on each other's motivation to get up. Since I started getting serious about my health, I like going to the gym now by myself. I go in the afternoons if I don't finish…

I say you still need some internal drive to do something because if you don't want to do it, you don't want to do it. I can tell you that yes, others can motivate you. I have a friend whom at the time, I had not talked to in two years. When I saw her again, she had dropped like 60 pounds. I was like "Holy Crap!" I was…

I told my ex she could lose a few pounds. She got really offended, especially given how much weight I needed to lose, but people need to get over it. If I can't be honest with you, even about something like your health and weight, something is wrong. I would hope my next GF would have the courage to tell me when something…

Burpees are pretty difficult to do quick when you heavy like me. I have done some, but I don't do them often yet. I'm waiting till I get a bit more in shape. They are great exercise though.
