Full time student?

Nope. Sure doesn't. You don't always need to exercise every day. It's up to you, but definitely try to get in 3 days a week. Sometimes our lives get busy.
-
That is true. You are also a dedicated individual. Another great feature. Glad to have you as a MFP pal.

Request sent.

Meth capital of FL, Polk county. I don't blame you.

Floridian Here. Tampa Bay area. It's always nice to know others somewhat local. Similar restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Let's do the damn thing. You're welcome to add this FL playa.

I used to comfort eat. I do not anymore. I have totally changed the way I think about food. Just remember that food is only fuel for the body, and nothing more. I doesn't matter if it's a salad, or ice cream. Once you get that mindset, things begin to change. Separate your emotions from food. It will do you a world of…

Dell Enterprise Associate by day. Gamer by night. I fix 'em, I use 'em, I game with em. BF3 all the way, and COD 4 MW(1) are two I play most. Computers have been a big part of my life. I know the feeling of just vegging out in front of the PC. I have completely changed my ways after day 1 with this site. One of my other…

What s the point of a free day? I'm trying to get somewhere. My body only needs x amount of calories a day to achieve a goal. Deciding not to worry or log seems so silly to me. I have changed my eating habits forever. I have had higher calorie days, but I balance it out with exercise or lower calorie days. A free day seems…

I was thinking the same thing. Anything you eat, you will gain weight, till it comes back out. All seriousness, just take everything in moderation.

I look at the holidays as any other day. Your body doesn't know the difference between Thanksgiving, or Friday. If you don't think you can do it, then that mindset will give you just that. Of course you can do it. You are in control of what goes inside your body. Food is just fuel for your body. Give it what it needs, not…

I stepped on the scale today after a run, and no food at noon. Weighted 296.8. That night at the very end, after dinner and any late night snacks, I weighed 301.4. I only ate 1300 calories. I have seen my weight fluctuate up 7 then down 11 in a week. Normal stuff.

He didn't give up and neither have I. I'll be where he is soon.

It's really easy to eat out. It's no different than eating at home. It's all about portion control. Whenever I eat out, I tend to check the nutritional guide for the restaurant(if they have one) on my smartphone, and I only eat what I want. You'll know how much to eat. If it is a one off restaurant, try to cut your meal in…

No. I eat what I want, and I still lose weight. I eat fruit and veggies when I want, but it is not that vital. Just keep your calorie count in check, try to get a good balance of carbs to sugars to fats and you will be fine.

This is no easy cheap task. You're not the only one with this issue. I just bought pants 3 weeks ago that are now bunching up in the front. It's difficult to spend money on nice clothes during a transformation. You may just need to keep a smaller wardrobe during this time, until you get to a maintenance weight. I have…

Just do what you can. If you can't do an entire video, do it till you can't do it anymore. Eventually, you will be able to complete an entire video. I myself was doing P90x videos. I can do them for about 30 minutes in. I don't care that I don't complete a video. I'm pretty darn heavy myself. (298 lbs 5'11" 33 year old…

Sometimes I skip breakfast because I ate more the night before. Take thanksgiving. I ended up eating about 500 calories over, plus I had 5 beers after midnight into 2:30 am. When I woke up at 7:30, I was not hungry at all. I just waited till I was hungry again to eat ( which wasn't till 1 pm the next afternoon). It doesn't…

I would try to change your mental perspective. I go in with a Bluetooth headset on my right ear, my iPad in one hand, a towel over my shoulder, and my HTC One X smartphone in my other hand. I go running on the treadmill watching Netflix tethered to my phone for internet. I haven't really cared to look around me to see if…

I don't have to feel fat mentally after 59 pounds (38 on MFP). I know I'm still fat, but I know I am working towards a day that I won't be. Being fat is not a feeling. You either are or you aren't. I guess it could be a feeling, but feelings are just that feelings.

I got sick a few weeks ago with back to back flu, then a cold. I work at a sit down job all week. I was too weak to work out. In the end, when I got better, I just got up and went to the gym. Keeping motivated is not always easy. I wish you the best with getting that motivation going again.

From someone who was told the same things growing up by my peers (You're such a fatass. You're a POS, etc...) I've grown a bit in my life since those horrible days of childhood. Take some time to work on yourself, both mind and body. Look yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that you ARE worth it. You ARE a great…

Agreed. Although we can cook a ton of food, doesn't mean we have to eat a ton just because it is a holiday.

Some of us don't believe in a god, gods, etc. To each his own on this subject.

One Helluva Yay!

I noticed your last line said that you are not looking forward to this. Unfortunately, that attitude will keep you right where you are, or make things worse. Try to remember that food is something we need to survive, and nothing more. I hope for your life, that you can tell yourself, that you ARE looking forward to this. I…

I find the gym boring. I'm there mostly for cardio. I will take my iPad 2 tethered to my One X 4g lte phone, connect my plantronics Voyager Pro HD headset to my iPad 2, and watch my favorite shows while I run, or do elliptical.

Although I don't blog, I regularly post in my news feed. I try to be active in the MFP community. Welcome. 56 pounds down myself (36 on MFP) 120 still to go. You're welcome to add me.

Excellent post! I'm not yet in that category of people who just want to lose a couple, but I have some friends on my MFP list who are just that. They are already healthy, but want to just put the finishing touches on themselves. There is nothing wrong with wanting to improve yourself. I hope you find the type of…

If you have a goal, don't let your fiance's family get you discouraged from achieving them. Everyone's a critic, that's for sure. You are obviously doing something right if inches are coming off in a matter of a week. It sounds like you have the determination.
