I know things can be frustrating at times. Keep enjoying the things that you enjoy in moderation. If you're still seeing inches come off, the scale will eventually start going down. You know based off the inches alone, that you are becoming a healthier person each day. 2.25 inches lost in a week is fabulous! Try not to get…

I started researching the "losing inches, but no pounds" on the web. Looks like you eat healthy, and get plenty of exercise. You may be building muscle while losing fat at the same time which is why you are losing inches, but not pounds. Keep at it.

I wish you the best with finding your success. Maybe someone with more experience here can help. Good luck.

My badd. Edited. I'm still new to this site. I just noticed the diary button there.

Hmm, if you get enough exercise, maybe it is something with your calorie intake? I don't know. It has to be something. How about alcohol intake? (no judgments here)

I hear ya. Shiiiii___, I don't even want to know what my body fat range would be. Probably high 40s. It gets tough. The other day, I was hitting a wall at 304 for nearly a week. I ended up eating a pretty low calorie day mixed up with some P90x. I broke the leveling off with that. What kinds of exercise do you love to do?

Maybe you need to confuse your muscles. If you've been doing the same routine, try to switch things up. You could be plateauing. I don't quite know your food and exercise, but I know, if what you have been doing isn't getting you there, time to try something different. What types of exercise do you normally do? EDIT I also…

Although eating may have BEEN a coping mechanism, try to just tell yourself that it is NO LONGER one. Pretty soon, it will be ingrained into your your head that you eat to live, not eat to cope. Maybe you just need someone to listen. Losing a loved one is never easy. Try to cope in other ways. Maybe you can try and speak…

Try not to think of it as falling off the wagon. If you had a big day today, just reduce your calories over the next couple of days to spread out the deficit. That way by the end of a week, your average per day over a longer period of time will balance out.

From someone who has bee overweight nearly their whole life (1999-2001 reached 179 and 2004, 232), I know what you mean. This has to take a high priority in your life. It's your body. Eat, breathe, and live this stuff. Get your mind right for this journey again. Eat to live, don't live to eat. If you feel like you're…

I was a member of Gold's Gym many years ago (back in 2005). They were open early (5 am) at my gym, and open late. That was important for me. I guess it's all about what you want. I don't have issues at my gym now (LA Fitness), but I have been thinking about this place called Anytime Fitness. They have a 24 hour gym. There…

It's good to help others, but don't forget, helping yourself toward a healthy lifestyle has many rewards too. You're right. I don't believe in good or bad foods either. I eat whatever I want. I just choose to have moderation. Glad to see you are reaching out for support. It definitely helps. Feel free to add me.

That is pure awesomeness. I'll see ya down there in a year. 'bout a 3rd the way down myself.

Work hard, Play hard!

I would still say it's for muscle scupting as well as burning calories. I did the Pliometrics video last night. No weight lifting, but many seval jump squats and other various leg exercises. My legs felt like jello last night, but definitely got my heart rate to target for the entire duration.

If someone doesn't have enough money to maintain their pets (and their pet issues), they really don't need to be owning pets. I wouldn't put up with that in my home personally. I can't stand being eaten alive by fleas. To fix the problem, the cats need to be shampoo'd, and any carpets cleaned with flew powder. THey also…

I'd like to hear more about this insanity. Been getting back on the P90x workout disks myself. Found the digital copies I made in my backup hard drive last night. Decided to pull them out of archive to get a great workout.

Isn't that the best? Knowing you can actually ride something that shoots you to nearly 80 miles an hr, and takes you through loops, twists, and turns? Total Adrenaline rush on multiple levels!!!
-
I'm glad I could raise those cheeks to bring a smile to your face. Being able to ride roller coasters should be every ones right.
-
I read your other post about losing your first 50 lbs. Congratz. Dedication my fiend is what you have. Keep up the great work. You'll be flying high in a roller coaster in no time.
-
At least you're here now, and if you keep working, next time, that won't happen. You'll get there.

Cedar point rocks!! I have family that lives in Akron OH. I haven't personally been to Cedar Point since I was 10 with my grandma. My girl friend wants for her, her son, and I go to up there, but I told her we need to wait. I want to enjoy myself at a theme park and be able to ride all the rids. She's a very patient woman.…

It sure is, and for me, the weight has been coming off quick like. I haven't had a bad week yet since I started here. Keep it up, and you will achieve that goal (wearing a tank and leggings to the gym, and knowing you look good in it).

There was one time I was 310 (I remember) I ended up getting on Montu (like the Batman ride at six flags, chairs are under the track). I barely fit the big boy chair. It took all my might to suck it in to get it to click. Totally feel for that woman you are taling about. I was there myself. I was fortunate to not have…

I know for me, I can finally be able to shop at the regular size stores. Finally out of the "Big and Tall" Sizes (3x and above). I can finally walk into Nautica or Tommy Hilfiger store and buy normal clothes. Not being able to wear what I liked was a real bummer for a while. Not any more. Making changes every day to be a…

Awwe, thanks for the flowers. :-)

Another motivator for me is to be able to use the scale at Publix Supermarket. It only goes to 300. I'm so close to being able to check my weight while I am shopping.

It's definitely a mental switch. It went off in my head. 2 month later, 30 lbs down. She has to want it for herself. She's not going to budge if she doesn't want it. I wish you the best in your encouragement.
