everyone has their own way of diet and weightloss so this is just my opinion but although your diet is "healthy" it seems pretty high in carb/sugar...all the fruits/berries have sugar (grapes & bananas have some of the highest sugar content), most protein bars are high in carbs/sugar and you're not supplementing your diet…

I wish! Saw pretty much all of my family at a reunion this weekend after 4 months - and no one said anything...lol Don't get me wrong, I feel great and love how much I've accomplished and nothing changes that but it would be nice to know if it's not just all in my head and I don't have this skewed view of myself when I…

I feel ya. I've been confuzzled with my weight loss since I too have PCOS and the impossible weight loss that comes with it, yet i have managed to lost 16 pounds since the beginning of february. Unfortunately, the only way I have managed thus far is with keeps my carbs under 114 and reducing my cardio and upping my…

I think a lot of people will point out that you're cals are pretty low...1200 is just LOW period, even if you weren't working out.I can't imagine what you're netting. I will add - I did do circuit training (a program from the Metabolic Effect book) with dumbbells in…

You look great! I also have PCOS and am doing atleast one protein shake a day - it's whey and helping meet my protein goals..... my only cause for worry is that whey protein can be insulinogenic - does anyone know how true this is?

I've been at this for about a year, on and off - I will admit, the past 3 months I've been more serious..I tend to have phases where I get "all in" and log like crazy, work out around my busy schedule and then times I fall off the wagon (don't we all!). My logging is becoming more consistent and I'm eating around TDEE-20%…

Another one here! 26 years old, in grad school, 5'0 and currently around 145...looking to get down to 120. Lowest I ever got too was 112 but it was bad weight loss methods (no eating, overexercising etc..)..lead me to some rough times, and I think I've royally messed up my metabolism oh and I've also got PCOS. I've gone…

I'm sort of struggling with the same thing except I spent the last 4 months not moving and eating like crap because of a huge exam...its finally over, but I wish I had done something those 4 months - either eating healthier or moving 20 mins a day cause now I've got more than my share of weight to loose....and serious lack…

youtube has some great fitness links for free.....there are full links to tae bo videos which have been great for at home workouts.... I'm currently doing the Insanity program at home - I'd recommend getting yourself acquainted to more rigorous workouts and making a schedule for yourself and then hit the Insanity program…
