I'm very grateful that with all the problems I had being dragged up I actually managed to raise two well adjusted children. Both of whom are now adults. Separating the actions and attitudes from the child made a huge difference. I love my children wholeheartedly, but I refused to tolerate any BS from either. My daughter…

Feel free to add me. I'm on everyday, I'm realistic about what I want and how to achieve it. I'm here for a lifestyle change not a "diet". I eat real food. I encourage as much as I am encouraged by others. And I've managed to gather some really nice people along the way. Good luck on your journey.

Born in Christchurch New Zealand, moved to Corvallis Oregon, now residing in Bartow Florida.

Feel free to add me. I log every day and I drop in and check on my friends everyday. I have set myself some very realistic and attainable goals. My primary focus is health and well being. The big bonus is shedding weight. I applaud you for taking action now rather than waiting. Good luck with the lifestyle change.

Add me for the extra support. Better to travel with someone then on your own.

Congrats on your success so far and all the best to reaching that final goal. I love the attitude of health and well being first and weight loss the bonus. It really makes a difference since you reach for a life style change and not the "diet". You look wonderful.

Thank you for sharing such an amazing story. Both of you are a real inspiration.

So sorry to hear that you feel this way. And that stupid minded people offer their negative opinions. Like other posters I have done a lifestyle change. I'm not on a diet that I will eventual stop. I see my weight loss as secondary to the increased health and well being I strive for with better eating habits and exercise.…

Originally from Christchurch New Zealand, live in Oregon for just over 6 years, now in Florida. Both babies were born in NZ. 1st - son, 20 years old just 2 1/2 months before my 21st. Planned 2nd - daughter, 25 years old, less than a month after my birthday. Planned. Remarried now with no plan for more children. Hubby and I…

Back in the day I was a very comfortable 34C. I got up to a 44D or DD and I am grateful that the weight is coming off and they are getting smaller. Definitely not perky after two kids but the correct fitted bra makes them look gorgeous. I still have about 28lbs to drop at which time I will reassess my situation. At that…

Well done You.

If you BBing then yes I guess your statement is correct under a certain list of criteria. Just as a triathlete/runner is more like to be of a lean muscle physique. It depends entirely on what you want to be doing long term as to how your physique will evolve and take shape. If BB is your thing then sure you are gonna work…

I want to have seen and spoken to my Dad before he died in earlier this month. I want to visit my family back in New Zealand and catch up with my kids. I want to be working again. And I want a car again.

This will be my first Thanksgiving and Christmas in Florida with the Hubby's family. So I'm thinking that there will be some new dishes for me to try. So It will be at least a spoon full of everything (somewhere between a tablespoon and half a serving spoon). And later when I go back for more I'll only have another helping…

You have done a fantastic job to get to where you are now.

Back in Oregon I did. It allowed to to have bigger healthier salads with less calories. But I moved to Florida and made the mistake of putting my kitchen scales into storage. I do miss it. My weight loss has slowed a bit but I'm not too worried about it as it hasn't stopped.
-
Oh My Gosh! You look fantastic.

Feel free to add me. I'm active daily and been with MFP since June 1st of this year. Loving the support and the forums.

Fries. But what I miss most is chips and dip made with Nestle reduced cream and Maggi onion soup with a dash of malt vinegar. I'm in the US and it takes too much effort to organized delivery of the components from NZ. I need a care package from home.

If you are hungry then eat. If not then start over tomorrow.

You have done a rocking great job of getting this far. And looking gorgeous to boot. You'll get that last 20 lbs off because you already know you can. And then there will be a few more photos to motivate the rest of us. *standing ovation*

Hey there welcome.

I'm fussy with my coffee so I only have it at home. I have caramel creamer and 8oz low fat milk with very strong coffee. I love the taste. I've just got some Bailey's creamer too. Can't wait to have that. :drinker:
