What the people above said: the scale is a nasty troll, especially when you're a woman. Don't take this too seriously. We're not machines, things like this happen but don't need to mean anything. if you gain weight continously and don't lose any inches - that's the point to start worrying.

Every Thursday, so once a week. It's difficult to keep away from the scalebecause after a hard day of working out I expect to see immediate results - but of course that's nonsense. Add water-fluctuations and things like that and it's simply better for my mental health to only do this once a week.

Toned, definitely. I don't want to look at someone and have to fear for the next strong breeze to break their spine. Also, a toned body speaks for discipline, and that's an admirable character trait. Some people are just skinny for "no reason", but someone with muscles is someone that works for their body.
