Welcome. Please don't desperately seek skinny~desperately seek healthy & fit!!! Calories in vs. calories out. You don't need gastric sleeve surgery or weight watchers. You need to focus on eating lean proteins (broiled, boiled, baked or bbq'd), healthy carbs, fruits and vegetables and hydrate. Limit eating out of a box or…

On the internet, just type in the search: gluten free breakfast ideas. The search came up with endless sites with ideas like www.eatingwell.com, greatist.com, simplygluten-free.com, shape.com etc. A lot of things look really good. Good luck to you.

Are you in maintenance? Then your choice may vary especially if you have hundreds of calories to spare. If you're aiming to lose, then it depends on how honest or serious you want be or how badly you want to see changes! Little nibbles here and there can add up to be big calories in the end. It's purely up to you. Logging…

45 years young here and I've been accountable to MFP for 1491 days  Feel free to add.

You obviously know what to do. Get it in gear & hold on!

All things in moderation if you insist, but I always think of my husband's response that it is a great cleaner to dissolve acid corrosion off of a battery terminal. Hmmm~

Welcome back. A lot of life's choices is mindset. Don't tell yourself that you can't or you will fail but rather tell yourself that you can and you will by making small mini goals for yourself to meet and achieve with the promise to exercise because it is healthy for you. Breakfast ideas can be something as simple as…

Similar stats (started at 235) but in maintenance: Will be 46 in less than a month. 5/10" and lost over 80 pounds. Have a daughter who is going to be 8 in August too. Would recommend that you be proud of the 50+ pounds that you lost. Enjoy your holiday as this is a lifestyle and not a diet. Everything in moderation. Try to…

Sounds like time of month fluctuations, but would be cautious of pre-packaged foods or high sodium content (diary not open) but would contribute to additional retention as well. Hydrate~hydrate...

Pre-plan or log your meals and snack on anything that you want that fits into your calories available. All above mentioned are good. I also like spinach dip and carrots. I like the 90 calorie fiber bars, yogurt raisins and prunes. Also a handful of shredded wheat. I also know most of these are good for sources of fiber. I…

I make homemade oatmeal protein bars. In a pot, heat on low 1/2 cup any milk, 8 tblsp reduced fat peanut butter, cinnamon, add 1 1/2 cups of protein powder (vanilla or chocolate) then mix in 2 cups of oatmeal and any extras. Options are endless. I love to add raisins. Place wax paper in a 9x9 baking dish and pat down the…

Yes, you are at a loss!!! 3 pounds worth. 1-2 pounds a week is healthy. Congratulations! Things are moving in the right direction. Keep it up and be sure to measure your foods, log everything and anything you consume & put intensity into your walks or workouts. You will look back on this!

No sorry~ Only connection is I have is a friend name Jenny and a cousin named Jenny - lol. But would be happy to help motivate or support; especially coming from Staten Island, NY. I have family there :)

Approximately 12-16 glasses a day. I play a mental game to drink a 32 oz. bottle on the 20+ minute drive to work, then I can enjoy a cup of coffee. Refill and drink throughout the day and usually finish before or after a lunch walk. Refill after lunch and drink the rest of the afternoon and on the way home. If not done,…

^This. You already noted plans to hike, swim, yoga etc. You don't seem to be the type of person to ruin all the hard work you have put in to being healthy by going "overboard-lol" or doing nothing. Change does a body good as does a mental vacation and time to de-stress! You may come back with more gusto and vigor!

Calories in vs. calories out whether you choose to eat them or drink them. Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage, skin, and blood. I personally strive for high protein. Carbohydrates provide energy required for your daily activities. Apart from providing energy, they also have other benefits.…

Quaker Banana Protein oatmeal with an extra scoop of vanilla protein powder, strawberries and coffee

Lean meats, tuna, fresh fruits (faves bananas, strawberries - great in smoothies or oatmeal etc. and apples and oranges for snacks and vegetables (lettuce, tomato, onion, celery, carrots, broccoli, green beans)-(some frozen liked mixed vegetables or spinach) for convenience and longer freshness. Eggs, milk, yogurt, protein…

No it's not hard. You have to want it and have a mind set to do it and realize it is a lifestyle change not a diet. Don't worry about being judged by other people. Don't wear a tank top at first if you are self conscious. A t-shirt will work fine. Buy a good sports bra. You're not going to the gym to win a beauty contest,…

Not age. Mind set. Just get back on the horse.

If you go this route, I would personally suggest making your own protein bars. They are so much healthier & with out all of ? ingredients that can't be pronounced :D & cheap & you can incorporate all of the goodness you want into them. So easy. For example, in sauce pan combine 1/2 cup preferred milk & 8 tblsp peanut…

45. On almost 4 years with diary always open. Over 80 lbs lost. Would be happy to support.

Infused water is simply water with the flavoring of natural fruit squeezed/and or floating inside of it. I don't do weight watchers, count points or eat pre-packaged foods etc, but would be happy to support here. You need to simply buy fresh fruits, vegetables and meats and consume reasonable portions, log everything and…

What does giving up get you? Then do something about it. Write in a journal all the reasons why you really want to lose weight. Understand that it is a lifestyle, not a diet and you have to want to change! Be true to eating healthy & start incorporating true physical activity into your lifestyle daily. Make it fun. The…
