I'm not really sure how to explain it anymore than another poster here already has. But it does work. When I got started, I didn't change anything, I only logged and I was not eating enough! Most days not even 1,200. So you would think I should not be so overweight, right? Wrong. I was actually gaining At an average of…

"Be yourself. Unless you can be Batman. Be Batman." That's what gets me to workout :B

I'll say the same thing here that I did on the 'Rise of MFP' post I honestly see both ways. There are a lot of trolls on this site and a lot of people who think it's their way or the highway. But I do see a good community of people helping others. I don't see a rise and I don't see a decline. I see a community of people…

Weird, I just saw the decline of MFP post lol. I honestly see both way. There are a lot of trolls on this site and a lot of people who think it's their way or the highway. But I do see a good community of people helping others. I don't see a rise and I don't see a decline. I see a community of people acting like humans do.

Or maybe wait longer between eating and working out. I know some people have said they get sick if they work out too soon after they eat.

When I drank more water and ate healthier (though I /was/ still eating junk) I got horrible backaches. I slowed it down for a while and went back to my regular diet, just more calorie conscious and now I'm eating healthier again and no back aches! :D

Game of Thrones. Arrow Smallville (if you haven't seen it, it's older.) Worst cooks in America I find anything action-y or fast paced make me want to do more xD

Good decision! XD Feel free to add me if you want :flowerforyou:

Depends on how many calories I have and what time of day it is. Mcdonalds would definitely have more calories. If it's late and I can afford it, I'll go with that. If it's late and I can't afford if or if it's early I'd go for the lean cuisine. They generally don't have more than a few hundred calories per meal, whereas a…

They're losing weight. Not fat. Go without water for a day (not really, that's a bad idea) But you'll lose weight too. Most of those diet pills, fad diet all that only gets rid of water weight. You're getting rid of fat. And that's much better

If you've been thinking about it all day. I say; say something. Don't be all argumentive about it, don't call your friend names or get upset, but let them know that what they said made you mad. If things heat up, then take yourself out of it. The regretful things we say, most often happen when it comes from anger. But if…

Okay, here's the starter. 100 lbs is a lot. It's possible to get it all off in a year if you're losing about 8lbs per month. But that's really pushing it. Especially since, when you get closer to your goal, you should slow down. So start smaller. Aim for 5 or so lbs a month and don't get discouraged if you don't go down. I…

I think I love you  . I can't live without pizza. This is Awesome! Thank you!!

Since I can't see your diary, I'll go over the basics :) 20 lbs is an awesome loss, especially in just a month. Your body might just need time to adjust, then you'll lose again. Make sure you're netting enough calories. Meaning eat back your exercise calories. If you're eating 1,200 it may not be enough so you might want…

Yes. If anything, you'll lose weight FASTER! Especially if you're netting under 1,200

Same here. Couldn't stand anything that wasn't sweet. Just make very small changes over time, your tastebuds will get use to many things (not all, but enough) Start with something as simple as adding some salad with a meal, a small one, doesn't have to be a lot. Eat less red meat, even if it's breaded chicken, I still…

It's not failing if it's your choice. Unless you are religious or ethical about not eating meat, go for it. Meat can be healthy! If you really don't want to, take a look at the macros you're getting (vitamins and minerals.) You may not have something in your diet that seafood does.

And, proper form is gold. Without proper form, you'll make yourself REALLY sore

Ever look up the couch to 5 k program? I can't run, but that's what I'm doing. I'm just doing the week 1 over and over until I get it down, then move up. It's /totally/ your pace. If you can't run for a minute, then don't. But aim for it. You get better the more you try, then once you complete it, you can move on :D

This thread. I'm not even that old, but I'm old enough to remember the good cartoons. And Spongebob is a good deal over these new cartoons!

I cheated tonight. With three cupcakes. They were good though! I don't really sweat it much. I just stopped myself and tomorrow is a new day to start over :3 Which I plan to do /right/!

You seem to be around 900-1,000 calories, which /is/ too little. I bet if you up them, you'll see a progress in your loss :D

Honest to goodness truth, nothing's gonna happen until he's ready. Even if he's aware of it it's not gonna happen. But, if you're the one cooking/shopping in the family, you can help silently by controlling what food is in the house. Only buy junk when he asks for it, otherwise, don't keep it in the house. Before I started…

I'm pretty beginner. I'm walking for 30 minutes every other day (along with a few push ups, crunches and hand weight exercises) and doing week 1 day 1 of the couch to 5 k program (until I can do that all the way, then I'll move up) Just do what you can, even if it's only a 5 minute walk, it's still more than what you use…
