  • I hear a lot about 1,200 not being enough. Especially if you exercise. But I don't know your stats. I say run your stats through mfp's database and use the calories they suggest. If it is still 1,200 Maybe you workout too much and only need every other day? I'm really not sure :\
  • I'm pretty sure resturants are required to provide calorie info. If you can find it, ask the manager. I'm pretty sure it's law. At least, in the USA
  • I actually just came from this thread. Look at these pics, and she lifts C: You won't get bulky http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/935378-a-lady-who-lifts-1-year-of-progress-pics
  • WOW THAT'S AMAZING IF YOU CAN LOSE 60 LBS IN 3 MONTHS I CAN LOSE 12 IN ONE THANK YOU AND KUDOS HOLEY COW SERIOUSLY, I THOUGHT I READ THE YEARS WRONG ON THE FIRST PIC. SORRY FOR THE CAPS, THIS IS JUST AMAZING <3
  • I'm not coming from where you are, but I do hope I can help motivate you. I say keep at it. Plateaus happen and you'll get over it soon. Keep up with your logging, keep up with whatever exercise you can do. A woman at my TOPS group was on a plateau for a long while, and now she's losing every week again. That'll happen for…
  • I don't really know if I 'go for lean' Because you can get lean red meat, but I do limit my red meat, because too much of it is bad for you. And causes colon problems, that may run in my family. So I'd rather not go there c:
  • One lbs in less than a week is fantastic! You can lose inches, but not pounds because lbs isn't just fat, it's also water weight, the clothes you wear, if you've eaten. So don't always go by the scale :) And 1,000, especially if you're not eating back your exercise calories (I didn't look to check), is probably too low.…
  • Film scores, most of the time. Batman, Superman, Indianna Jones, Star wars and Star Trek XD And some cliche stuff like 'Eye of the tiger' and Rocky's theme :D
  • You do what works for you, everyone's metabolism is different and maybe you only need 1,200. The only thing bad about 1,200 is that's the minimum of calories created by professionals yada yada. But if that's all your body needs, that's all your body needs. Upping your calories hasn't work, so I say lower them back down and…
  • Alright! That;s the awesomest! :D
  • ........ You are my new inspiration! Kudos! That's absolutely AMAZING!
  • It has caffeine (which is a drug and has addictive qualities) And sugar. (which always makes you want more sugar. It's the way our bodies are built to survive) Not to mention the carbonation, you don't really get that anywhere else. That's what usually gets me to take a drink. I want the fizzies :B
  • When I drank 8 cups of water, I had to not drink anything but water. BUT I have learned you don't need to drink that much, only enough to make your urine clear to light yellow. So I don't even count it anymore, I just drink when I'm thirsty :)
  • Also, my deep thoughts? The Multi-verse.
  • You could say the speed of dark is equal to the speed of light. But, technically, that's not right. Darkness is defined as the absence of light. It really has no speed.
  • I say keep at it, it's only been a month and sometimes your body is just slow. I hear a lot those last 10 or so lbs are usually the hardest to get off. You could also try changing up your workout or playing with the amount of calories you eat :)
  • I'm not a runner either. And those side cramps? They're called stitches and happen mostly in beginner runners. Just keep at it, run until your side hurt, then walk until it's stopped, then run again. You'll build up to it and you'll eventually be able to run longer before you start hurting. Same thing with your breathing,…
  • Start with small weights, because you need to learn good form first I have two 3 lbs weights, that II just finished using actually! I'm only just now starting to look into upping my weights. See if you can find a trainer, they could help with good form and would be safer when you move up to higher weights.
  • You do not need to weight yourself multiple times in one day. The human body does fluctuate up to 5 lbs throughout the day. Once a week or once month is just fine. If you weight yourself every day or multiple times a day, you're not gonna get good measurements, because your body fluctuates :flowerforyou:
  • Try some workout DVDS or Youtube Videos you can do inside :) And remember portion control for the rest of the day Half hour of Yoga (inside) burns as many calories as a half and hour of walking (outside)
  • It only takes a little while to notice a difference. I just re-started working out again, maybe like a week and today I went up the stairs without being totally winded like normally. I think it varies from person to person, probably age will have a lot to do with it, how frequent you actually work out and yada yada. But it…
  • I have heard both way, so I guess it comes down to what works for you. I can't work out on an empty stomach, or I'll feel like I'm about to faint, but I can't work out right after eating, or I'll get sick. I need a middle lol
  • Don't eat anymore junk today :) And don't sweat it, one not good day isn't going to mess you up. Go back to eating healthy today and tomorrow and so on. Also, give yourself a little treat everyday. It'll keep you from binging so much the next time you want a little more ^^ Your body won't be craving it as much
  • 100% of all people that drink water and breathe air will die It's the truth!
  • I honestly don't know if it was in moderation or cold turkey. I just drank more water. And I wasn't thirsty. Not being thirsty made me not want pop. :D
  • Take it slow. I just got over a month long 'I don't want to do this' thing. All I did to get back on track is start slow, slowly increase my water again, slowly increase my veggies, slowly decrease eating out and junk food. It took a while, but that's better than never getting back to it again :) And what's nice, is that…
  • You want to be the Joker? O.O
  • I wouldn't have any powers. I'd be Robin, Girl Wonder :3 If I had to choose a power, I'd say speed. EDIT: Unless I can make my power to be from Krypton. Then I'd have all the powers I needed.
  • It's totally possible to eat NOTHING but junk and still lose weight, as long as there is a calorie deficit. However it's not healthy. You'd be missing lots of nutrients and you'd probably be hungry a lot because those 'junk'foods are mostly empty calories. But it's possible :)
  • Scales are not the best tool to go by, go by measurements. :) And next week or the week after, you'll probably be caught up weight-wise, to where you should be again.
