They really are good motivation. Although my dog may be as out of shape as I am. I started c25k this week, and during the 1 minute jogging interval he can't keep up!!!

Hello! I actually just started the C25K last week. I've done it around my neighborhood, and today plan to try it out on a treadmill for the first time. Thank you guys all for the awesome suggestions and support! I have an excellent pair of shoes, and no pain other than soreness, just the swelling in my knees. I don't plan to move particularly quickly, I will probably stay on the C25K week 1 workouts for quite a while, until I am used to it and my knees stop swelling :)…

I don'tthink my shoes are tthe problem, they are brand new and feel fantastic! I will definitely look into the posture and stretching!

Thank you both! I wanted to make sure it would go away! I was fitted for running shoes before and they ended up being extremely uncomfortable. The shoes I have now are fantastic. I do the warm up and cool down walks, and do a lot of stretching before but haven't done any after, so I will definitely try that and ice!
