If you cook it in water which has zero calories, if it swells or not there are no extra calories. Follow the calorie count the box says. Only add calories if you add extra stuff. Original question, yes I would it would be worth it if it keeps you full longer.

Sunday 3.37 walk/run Tuesday 3.73 walk/run 16 degrees and it was a blast. Three layers up top, two on the legs and three pairs of socks, nice and toasty :). You could definitely tell when you slowed your pace, the slower you went the colder you got, talk about motivation to keep up the pace! Total 7.01 YTD 3.73
