It makes me so happy to hear you say that. So many people completely forget about their dogs once baby arrives and the poor dogs are relegated to the outside. I know of one case close to home (I may well end up asking if they would like me to take Belle). I don't have children but your plans sound really good to me. Best…

Don't give up - you have done amazingly well. But, and I may not be popular for saying this, if you need to have a soda and burger day then do so. That way it won't become a constant craving in the back of your mind and you may find that once you have agreed to let yourself have them you may not want them after all. Hope…

Yes- thank you. I pay way too much attention to what other people think/might think.

Me too. I always feel that they are just waiting for me to fail (which is understandable I guess as I always have in the past). Not this time though!

Really? I think I would like to try this one!

Bacon and banana toasted sandwiches. Usually accompanied by a chocolate milk! Yum

I have always had dogs (present one is a Westie called Pebbles) but then we were adopted by Ali Cat. He appeared in our garage and after a while of putting a bed in there for him and food etc he decided to come live with us properly. We never did find his previous owners - I think he was left behind when they moved. He was…

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. Your fiance sounds like a great person! I also get depressed a lot about my weight but in the short time I have been on MFP (15 days) I log on every day whether I have been good or bad just to get that little bit more inspiration and determination. Good luck with everything and…

I couldn't see the photos but WELL DONE.

Definitely on my list of things to try. Thank you

I don't even think I have cravings as such - I just see something and think "oh dear shouldn't eat that" and then eat it anyway. I hate, hate, hate being fat and yet I eat things I know I shouldn't and have the time I don't really want. Definitely a mind set problem for me. Thinking of hypnosis. Anyone tried?

Oh that's great news - thank you

You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please add me as a friend if you would like to. Sending hugs. God bless.

Like everyone else, I will NEVER give up on my real books, there is something special about getting a real book in your hands and curling up to read it. I also like my Kindle though especially for carrying to work to read on the bus and at lunchtime. If I was forced to make a choice though - a real book every time.

So sorry for your loss. It really really hurts when we lose a fur kid (and only other animal lovers truly understand).

Hi and welcome. Pretty new myself but finding MFP a great place for friendships and help! Feel free to add me if you would like to. I am going to my brothers wedding in August 2013 and really do not want to be the "fat one" in the photos!!

I love the idea of maple syrup. And I am definitely going to try the scrambled eggs with fresh basil - never would have thought of adding cottage cheese to eggs.

Prawns and a little bit of marie rose sauce. Very yummy on crisp breads.

A very spoilt little Westie

The Cassie Palmer series of books by Karen Chance.

Tales from Firozscha Baag by Rohinton Mistry is also really good. Completely outside of my usual reading but I enjoyed it immensely. I will have a look now for A Fine Balance.

Hi - I quite like All Bran Golden Crunch with some blueberries.
