I tried a "double down" beer at a restaurant once. 10% alcohol. It tasted like I could run my car off it and I couldn't even finish the glass. Red Stag cherry whiskey, on the other hand, I could drink until I'm flat on my *kitten*, and have stupidly done so once.

A variety of things depending on where I go. -A nearby Italian restaurant: Moscato wine. -Granite City restaurant/brewery: giant mug of their light beer -Japanese restaurant: Sake and/or hot tea -Pool hall: bottle of Corona with a lime slice. If calories are tight its plain ice water for me.

It's most likely water weight. I was 177 yesterday and dropped back down to the 171 by the following afternoon. I had a lot of salty foods last week.

I think it's more about relative height, that the guy is taller than (or the same height as!) the girl. And the truth is most guys are probably just as susceptible to this rule of attraction. I may be able to find a taller girl easy on the eyes, but I'm FAR more comfortable approaching a girl that is my height or shorter.

I'm inclined to agree with this...you need to set him straight. He's supposed to be a positive influence in your life. My last gf was one of those lucky "eat like a pig and stay 110lbs" types, and would always mock me when I tried to watch my diet. It was extremely aggravating...

I find as long as I limit my meals to 400-500 calories, I can keep pretty sated on 3-4 satisfying meals every day.
