This makes me sad :frown: Sorry OP, I tried. I guess you need to put a disclaimer on your photo. Don't let this stuff get you down in the least. I'm happy to hear that you recovered from your surgery and I'm sure that was quite scary to say the least. I wish you the best in reaching your goal!!

Here is a little help for the people that looked at the OP's pictures but didn't read her about me section "I recently lost 40 pounds over the past 2ish years (185 to 152 at 5' 9 1/2") and recently had brain surgery. With all the sitting around and extreme hunger due to hydrocephalus, I gained about 40 pounds and NEED to…

Feel free to add me. I'm a new runner, no numbers yet. Second week of the C25k. May make the switch to the Rebel Running program though. Either way it's happening. Signed up for my first 5k in Feb of next year!! Excited to see the progress!

I'm in Folsom, does that count? :P

Nope, just trying to get to the point of being able to take my shirt off at the beach with out being ashamed. That and there are so many things I want to do that would either be extreamly difficult or impossible for me right now. Life it so short not to live it to it's fullest!!

My right knee acts up on me a lot too. Giving yoga a try and hoping that's my answer. Ask me in a month or too and I'll let you know. ;) Best of luck to you!

Awesome work!!!! I know you have to be feeling good. I'm the same height but a little behind you on the weight loss. Thanks for the boost of motivation.

Motivation... that's what it comes down to right? Fact of the matter is that's why we do anything in life. So, how do you find yours... day in and day out? Especially when it's not something you've "Grown to like" as they say. Think of all the reasons Why you want to do it. Attach those feelings to your goal and focus on…

Thank you very much for yoru suggestions. I'll see what I can do this weekend. Ha, I have a pressure cooker and never use it. I'll have to look up that chicken idea!!! Thanks again!

You know, that's a great question. I suppose that would depend what you would do with your new found time. "Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time." - Jim Rohn

Amazing... seriously!! Very well put together blog also btw.

Yes, I suppose I just need to make better use of the tools I have at my disposal and pick up new ones as I go along. Love the crockpot but it is sadly underutilized. Will work on that. Thanks for your reply!

Hahahaha Yes this... Love it!! Cracking me up with the "sounds effects included" lol

When I read the title of this thread I thought we would be talking about the game some of us played as kids. Jumping from one couch to another as to not touch the lava (floor). Using throw pillows as stepping stones ect. Hahaha

Haha, love that! It's been said but don't get discouraged. A tape measure can be a better friend than the scale at times. Either way you are getting healthier; because you are exercising and eating right (I have to assume that last part). :)

Yes, or it's hat day!!
