I highly recommend asking about trainer options for the first few rounds at the gym. The trainer can show you the basics (how to do some basic lifts, how to operate the cardio equipment), and then once you get into the swing of things, look into a good lifting program (you could hire a trainer to do this, or lots of people…

I have the best success when I do the above. Keeps everything high & tight, and the two days of cardio keep my heart healthy.

Is it? IS IT??

actually, I'm finding vegan recipes which use oats and water, so maybe try googling them. The problem is that many of them just say to use "oats" so I don't know what kind they mean.
-
If you use quick oats, I believe you can use water. If you are not using quick oats, then you would have to heat the water up (like regular old oatmeal), or can use one of the milks. I don't know the science behind it, but a quick review of the recipes shows that this is the difference between them.

Yep on the "depends on your diet." I get lots of protein in, but use it to prevent over-eating, so I sneak it in in-between meal snacks. I really like mixing in some vanilla or chocolate protein powder (about 1/3 of a scoop) into some greek yogurt - it makes the yogurt taste kind of like cake, and then I'm not so hungry at…

These are my theories too!

I loved it! I will admit, when I heard Billie Piper and David Tennant were in it, [SPOILERS IN REST OF POST] I was secretly hoping for the parallel universe versions of them, although the story line worked much better the way they did it. I am SUPER excited about Capaldi searching for Galifrey - I'm assuming that's what…

I really like you!

I like you!

This post is pretty rude. A person's preference in body type has very little to do with their sexual orientation. A man liking a women with big muscles in no way means he might be gay. A woman liking men with long hair also does not mean that she might be gay. There's no correlation there.

Not here to debate whether you should/should not stop drinking - that's up to you. Just here to say how I got more comfortable dancing without alcohol - practice! Use one of those wii or xbox dancing games (they count as cardio too) and you will get more comfortable dancing sober.

Are you back on track today? If so, that's AMAZING! There's a point in time where I would have gone off plan last night and then just said - eh, screw it, I'm taking Friday/Sat/Sunday off too and will "re-start" Monday. I know it's been said like a million times, but I think once you think of it less as a plan and more as…

I had terrible shin pain when I started C25k. It would get so bad that I overcompensated by trying to run different ways (on toes, ball of foot, no heel), and my feet fell asleep, while jogging. It was crazy (and I was always in danger of falling). To get rid of the pain, I slowed down, took much smaller strides (sometimes…

I like Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein. I think the serving size is a bit much for me, but a full scoop is 170 calories, 7 carbs and 30 protein (I like to throw 1/3 scoop in my greek yogurt). To be honest, I prefer it because I think it tastes better than most other powders I've tried. Once thing I will say - I…

There's a lot of good advice in this thread (and at least one negative post - get use to it - people love to be mean on the internet) but I want to re-iterate some of the points already made in my own words because, heck, that's what forums are for! It's true that you might not be ready. I wasn't always ready to give it a…

I also use the TDEE method. I didn't like eating back my exercise calories. It messed with my noggin (it felt like I was rewarding myself with food, which just sort of fed into all the other junk regarding my relationship with food). The TDEE method builds them in, and if I miss a workout, I just eat a little bit less that…

Honestly, the same exact thing doesn't work for everyone. Try a plan (a healthy/balanced one - not anything crazy like eating 200 calories a day or something), for 1-2 months, and if it works, keep going with it. If not, try a different plan. Generally speaking, I don't think there's anything wrong with apples or cottage…

I agree with this so much. While I don't know if you can "fix" everything (particularly if it would require changing a person), talking to him about your feelings and then leading that straight in to your fear that some of this may be related to low T, is a really great place to start. Will the increase in testosterone…

Is it only carbs or just sweets? What about trying something with natural sugars (like fruit)? Like would pineapple work?

I don't think so. If that were true than the excuse would have been "We don't sell >1kg dumbells to people who look weak." Meaning regardless of gender. They committed an FCRA violation and likely a violation under state law as well as soon as they said the word "women." Edited to add - and nevermind. OP lives in India.…

Ahh, well, I had it at the bar. So the bottle cost me $21 (for 2 beers, obvs), but they have the Pumpking/Stout on tap, so it would have likely been closer to $6 for a pint. But if the bottles are comparatively priced, I'd likely buy the Warlock. I prefer the stout in there with my pumpkin!
-
I prefer the one on the left, but it is more formal.
-
Just log it. If it fits, drink it. I will say that I prefer eating to drinking though, so I tend to drink less. Pumpkin beer season has been difficult, but I find that if I stick with one or two craft beers, I can usually make it fit. I used to swear by vodka sodas (pretty low in calories - usually between 75-150 depending…

I tried this over the weekend. It was fantastic, don't get me wrong, but for the price tag, I'd probably stick with a black and tan with a stout and pumpking.

or try the justin's organic dark chocolate peanut butter cups. They make a milk chocolate one too, but I prefer dark chocolate.

I don't know if these two things match. If this lady talked about that she ate on purpose to look this way, and sabotaged her health to look this way, or it were her goal to look this way, and then took scantily clad pics, then I think people would be outraged by her photos (there's threads somewhere on here about the…

Here's a different opinion: At my highest weight, I hate myself. I think I'm disgusting and ugly and unworthy. Because that's what I've been told. While I try to do things for my health, I end up taking minor slip ups as giant failures because, I don't deserve health. Why is that? Because I'm disgusting and ugly and…
