I have a favorite elliptical at the gym. The strides on all of them are different, but there's one in particular I love. I will get on that thing regardless of where other people are (for example, there' s about 8 ellipticals in my gym - if you're on the one next to the one I like - and I'm the only other person in the gym…

If I want to eat more on Saturday I do. I don't usually on Sunday because my gym is closed, but I do wear a fitbit and will try to walk more on the weekends than I do during the week.

All I can think of is: Yeah.. All I wanna do is zoom-a-zoom-zoom-zoom and a boom-boom - JUST SHAKE YA PITTS

JINX. You owe me a coke.

You do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around That what it's all about.

It took me a while to get used to it, but now I love it. Grande iced coffee with a sugar free syrup (I've really gotten into the cinnamon dolce one or whatever they call it). No milk, no sweetener. Only 5 calories. It's kinda to die for, but I've never liked my coffee that sweet or that light.

I am on levothyroxine - the brand, not the generic. I was on the generic (synthroid) and it didn't work as well. Once I switched to brand, and really made sure I took it correctly (first thing in the morning, no eating for 1-2 hours after) it started to work. I'm starting to lose weight again and my hip pain has gone away.…

I used to bite my nails constantly and now have nice nails; my suggestions won't help folks who don't want to or can't wear polish or those on a super tight budget, but it worked for me. I started taking an interest in my nails; I wanted them to look good. I thought about all the hands I shake and how gross it had to be…

And I saw it twice in the theater, and now own it. The theory above is flawed. I loved that movie because the guys were so loveable.

I kind of have to agree with this. Focusing on healthy weight loss is a journey. You may not be ready for that journey if you have other things weighing on your mind. That does not make you a bad person. It just makes you someone who is not ready yet. And that's ok. Yeah - you'll get a bit sick from eating a bunch of crap,…

Is 1200 the recommendation MFP gave you? You also might want to open your diary, you will get better responses from this thread. Ultimately, the answer is no. You shouldn't be actually hungry, but there may be various reasons why you feel hungry that people can help you with, which will depend on what you are eating (hence…

I second the double fiber, but be careful - they have two versions (one which is 50 calories and one which is 100 or so calories per slice) and the packaging is deceptively similar. We eat the regular Nature's Own 40 calorie slices too. It can be a bit like cardboard, although I find its better if you keep it out of the…

First of all - I'm really sorry that someone you care about made you feel bad. It's worse when someone you care about does it because they're supposed to be the people that make us feel good. Second, don't let it affect your motivation. You're doing this for you - his idiotic comment is just that. While I think everyone…

same with beets. Boy, that was a weird day. Having done the pineapple taste test, I will tell you, the change in taste was not worth the acidic esophagus my hubby dealt with for a week. He's recently gone vegetarian though, so there's another experiment in the making.

All you need to do is ask him why he wants to sleep in a separate bed. Then ask yourself why it bothers you. If his reasons are valid, but it still bothers you, and there's no compromise, then maybe move on. Not all people are meant to be together, and something like sleeping in the same bed may be a dealbreaker for you,…

It's so great to see this! Your goals and my goals, and it's nice to see the work pay off! Great work, and keep it up!

You and your current husband should determine what you are and are not comfortable with. You seem to have decided that you are comfortable with grandma staying, but not necessarily your ex. If you're not comfortable with him staying over, then you shouldn't do it. It won't help your son to see his biological father if the…

I'm super guilty of this, although I think logging the bad days would be better. Then I'd get to see what I'm doing. Usually what happens is that on "bad" days I'm eating whatever without logging first and then can't remember what I ate in order to go log it. I think if you log first - whether it's bad or good - you're…

Your story is mine; the details differ, but I've been overweight since I was 12. There were moments of big losses and keeping it off for a time, but here I am, back as big as ever, and working on it slowly with MFP. We are here to support you. This is a lifestyle, and it's so hard. I still make excuses for events and on…

All the water I drink has some crystal light type thing in it (I actually prefer the target market pantry brand flavors). I use one packet per 32 ounces. It helps me drink between 64-128 ounces a day!)

I really like this. If you're waiting to test him, that's not good. If you've decided simply not to text him, that's fine. And if you to text him, I don't think it should mean you get back together. I can understand wanting to apologize for the f' you, but I think the time may have passed for that. Apologizing now just…

Great job! I have your same goal now, and it's so inspiring to see you come this far. You look beautiful!

oooooh - dish on the Aria. I want to know all about it! On a side note, I woke up with my fitbit in my hair this morning. Not quite sure how it went from my wrist to my hair, but there it was. I searched the bed for a few minutes before I felt it clunk against my face. Fun with fitbit.

I do not know if I could pick one, but our continual rotation is sriracha, frank's red hot, cholula, chipotle tobasco, and ocean deck rasta sauce (http://www.oceandeck.com/daytona/). I sort of freak out at the tijuana flats hot sauce bar. LOVE hot sauce!

If you like kettle corn - I have an idea for you. Pop the popcorn however you want. I personally like either the air popper (super low in calories but goes stale fast) or on the stove top in a heavy pan (just a few more calories, stays fresher longer). I then fill an oil sprayer with sugar free torani salted caramel syrup.…

everyone is going to go at their lifestyle change differently - I think it's great you're looking for a solution vs. trying to get him to do it your way. I think giving him the list explanation, and then coming up with ideas on how to let him keep his treats while your willpower remains in tact is a good idea. The single…

This is a blanket generalization and simply does not apply in every case. Hey - why don't I give you a case in point: My husband is 11 years older than me. I make more money. I have more (job/financial) success. We're both of the same level of intelligence. There is no "deal" of which either of us is aware. Your…

You have done so well! You look amazing, and it's great that you're still going. Very motivational!
