I have an Anatolian Shepard, 100 lb Falcor, who is 10yr old, and a Min Poodle "Daisy" who just showed up on our doorsteps a year ago. She has Lymphoma, but doesn't know she is sick. Love them both!!

This was my thought exactly! You still have the wife, and the commitment, and being a wife, I would rather know my hubby was healthy. =0)

Hey Smudge, can you message me and tell me which of these two terminals you are arriving at? I have only been there once, ut I'm more than happy to do a search and mapquest to see how far it is, and that will tell me what will be best for you to do: Terminal 1-Lindbergh 4300 Glumack Drive St. Paul, MN 55111 612-726-5555…

I use about 1/2 banana, a cup of frozen mixed fruit, that includes strawberries & pineapple, then add 1/4 to 1/2 cup frozen blueberries. Then I add water or (and this is my favorite) orange/strawberry/banana generic Crystal Light. That really adds to the berry flavor! I don't use diary just because I'm trying to stay away…

Hey Lily, Sorry to see you frustrated. Taking your measurements is a good idea. I think your calorie target is in line, and it looks like you are making healthy choices. You might try not eating back your exercise calories for a while and see if it makes an improvement. I have read some about Dr Oz's "Calorie Confusion"…

Hi there! I have had my fitbit for about 3 weeks now, and have finally gotten the kinks worked out I think. I'm loving it, and now it's time to find fitbit friends! You're welcome to add me. Thanks! =0)

I find dad106's advice was "right on" and exactly what I was going to say. My sister uses a heart rate monitor and loves it. Her's was about $50 that she found on clearance at Wal-Mart. The fit bit runs about $100. Both are set up with your personal data. I do like the fitbit because by wearing it all day, it seems to…

Hi all, saw this post and thought I would chime in. I just started MFP about 10 days ago, and could use all the supportive friends I can find. I will be 55 in about a 10 days (not sure how that happened), and I'm a 4 year Lymphoma survivor. I just started easing into a plant based diet for the first time. I love this…

Feel free to add me, I started eating a plant based diet at the end of April, and have lost 21 pounds so far. I do allow myself a bit of grilled chicken about once a week (gotta have my Mexican!) , so can't say "vegan", but love eating plant based for my health. I would love having more new "vegan" MFP friends so share…
