Every doctor I've seen since I've been diagnosed think it may be genetic. My sister has it as well though she is not required to take metformin.

I have lost 35 lbs so far. I have never done low carb. Though I am on Metformin since I am insulin resistant due to the PCOS. So I'm sure it is a contributing factor. 1 week off my pills and I will gain 5 lbs. I will pretty much have to stay on that indefinitely. With my personally losing weight has not decreased the cyst…

Honestly no, but then again I live in a completely different state. As our own families have grown it's come to pretty much a general consensus just to buy for the children. Not the adults. Now if we are together sure.. I'll treat my siblings, parents, and what not, but otherwise. I spend the money on my nieces and nephews.
