I added you! I am also preop. I have passed all my preop requirements and got put on hold to get my blood pressure in levels before moving forward for RNY. your clinic/doc usually does all the insurance approvals, preapprovals, and appeals. I have not been denied but they gave me booklet explaining they would if happens. Now I am on hold of moving forward right now to get my blood pressure under control before I get a surgery date, so that is a delay for me but not insurance…

GOOD LUCK!!! I have not either had my RNY, I am on delay to get BP under control. I go back Feb 11th and maybe maybe get to move forward. BUT I like what you are doing I am thinking I will copy. I have my start pics and did measurements last weekend, but more consistent pics would be smart.

I fly and do inspection things and they told me minimum of a month....period. I tried to negotiate and they said one month minimum. I also am in pre op phases and hoping to get a surgery date at my Jan 13 appointment at least on the calendar would be nice, same as you I need to plan work and such around it

that is wonderful. I just went to all my preop nutrition classes and they said that you will not fill hunger and that anymore that it will be feeling less and you would need to schedule an stay on schedule to make sure you drank and ate when able. I agree my goodness!! But I did find this last weekend drops like the koolaid drops for coffee. They had two flavors vanilla and caramel. I go them both.
