When I am sticking with it, 1200 calories a day is a lot. I also drink lots of water. I eat every 2 to 3 hours...so I never feel hungry. I do 3 meals ( breakfast lunch and dinner) and three snacks. I lift three times a week alternating upper and lower body. We hate it because we are told we will look bulky. I have to admit...when I first start I definitely bulk up...but then, fat melts off like butter in a hot skillet!!!!

I understand. In my culture/background/family it is not cute to be skinny or as thin as I am aiming to be. I do one class everyday at my gym either spinning, zumba, aerobics, or strenth training class. Depending on the day I usually go lift weights right afterwards. Sometimes I do a circuit at home.
