As far as I understand it, although working out helps move everything along, as long as you are ingesting less calories than you are burning, you should be losing weight. Correct?

Thank you! I actually have a Garmin running watch for exactly this reason, I just havent used it yet! I'll give that a shot and see if I'm burning as much as I think I am. And eating more? Like go by the BMR instead of MFP?

I've decided to reward myself with something I REALLY want but would never usually spend the money on, every 10lbs. I don't know if I'll actually reward myself though. I'm about 2lbs away from meeting my first 10lbs, and I still don't feel like spending the money on shoes I really want.

Being helpful really doesn't FEEL helpful to someone who's feeling low about themselves. I have a friend who's boyfriend was constantly trying to (helpfully) get her to be more active and eat better, etc,and she was not over weight at all. Eventually the constant nit-picking about her body made her feel so bad, she closed…

I know alot of people who do the same thing, including me! I started at 185, with a goal of 140 Then at 155lbs I changed it to 130 I'm at 149 now, and I've changed it to 125. I have a friend as well, who met her goal of 125 and is going now for 120.
