Youre doing pretty well!

Mindy, There is a script that you can install on Firefox or Chrome browser. It is just a little program that once installed to your browser will add a column to your diary listing the points for each food item on your diary and giving you total points eaten that day. That's all it doesn. It does not track your weekly…

I like you David. Very well said! Also doctors are not the know it all be it all. They make mistakes too. The "Doctor Supervised" thing is always put out there because we live in a "Sue You Happy Country"...so people protect themselves from lawsuits by saying "talk to your doctor"...blah blah blah

I totally agree with this but only halfway. It is true that you shouldn't expect the shakes to be a miracle nor should it be a replacement for your learning to eat healthy. I struggled with the same question when I started taking my shake. I do not want to replace it with real food and then not have the tools, habits and…

I would actually rephrase your 1200 calorie a day statement to "an average daily calorie amount of 1200". What matters is what you average in a week. It is ok to eat a little less one day and a little more another day. So, I'm assuming you are referring to those who chronically eat below 1200. I know it is possible to…

I was VERY reluctant to try Shakeology because of how expensive it is. Come to find out it is very convenient to have this on the go instead of reaching for fast food and it really holds you up for a while until next meal without any cravings in between. That's what I like the most. Oh and the chocolate tastes divine....I…

I'm 5'. Sedentary job 153.2 lbs I eat between 1000 calories - 1400. I may have a high day once in a while. I don't focus on hitting a specific calorie amount a day. I usually target for calorie deficit of 500-1000 by a combination of diet and exercise. I eat and exercise until my calorie deficit is between 500-1000. I use…

Did you find anything?

YAY!! This is nice to read! We are losing those lbs! Congratis ladies! :) briannadunn, that's right it's only water weight....during TOM the scale is not a real reflection of our weight loss so I bet since it was only .5 gain you are actually losing weight. When the coast is clear we'll see good numbers from you.
-
We can do this! I was on the same boat. I haven't been losing an ounce. I change this today.

It DOES get easier. I restarted the calendar yesterday so I'm on day 2 today as you. You are right. One day off will lead to another and another to it's best NOT to stop no matter how bad it hurts. Just keep plugging away. It gets easier and exciting. You'll feel differently come this Monday. I promise. If you can, walking…

I would recommend buying Turbofire or any beachbody program through beachbody. I only suggest it because I bought my Turbofire trying to save money through ebay and I ended up with a stretchy band that is not the original one that comes with the kit and I didn't like that. I felt cheated :( . The handles had metal pieces…

I started yesterday with Turbo again. I didn't complete the last round. This time I will.

I started seeing the scale move once I adjusted MFP to the Olivia Method where I eat calories based on how much deficit I want to create. I keept my deficit between 500 and 1000 calories. Carefully watch those calories. Your body will change about week 4 and then again when you take pictures on day 60 and day 90. You'll…

Veggies are great! Would you share how you prepare them? I'm always looking for different ways to make them tasty.
-
I'm new here but like you I notice the board is very slow. :(
-
This sounds great. I'm not sure how though since we are all doing different points program I think.
-
I felt cheated when I ordered on ebay because it came with a not so great set of resistance bands. :(...then turbofire went on sale through beach body. The calendar is the one that is for 20 weeks. You can also use WOWY on beachbody and it will give you the workouts you're supposed to be doing.

I'm using Nike Shox. They seem to be working fine for me. They support my feet really well. I was getting ankle pains with my previous sneaks. The pivoting part is dependent on the type of floor that you have. Rugs are harder to pivot on but on a non-rugged floor you can pivot easily.

Ok, so are there any home workout DVD's that can help with that? I really need someone to "tell" me what to do. Family and work don't leave much time to go to a gym daily but I can easily pop in a DVD or something for an 1hr

It depends on what you want. I have a fitbit one and a polar ft7. If you just want to know how many calories you burn during exercise I would use a polar. If in addition you want to know you TDEE on a daily basis I would get the Fitbit One. They also work nicely together if you decide to get both. They work different and…

Where can I find Jenelle's hybrid calendar?
-
As mentioned already you don't have to be perfect. Just do your best. It is still working even if your moves are not 100% right on. It takes a few weeks to learn the moves to the point that you are more comfortable with things but I still trip myself sometimes. It's ok. Just keep moving.

Good job on your accountability! :)

You should provide the link to the group :)

Is that only for PointsPlus that it rounds off? I kept the one line false as I didn't want to enable PointsPlus. I want to use Old Points. The version that I have though which I modified myself for the rounding is working fine. I just want to make the script available for everyone in the same way...Old Points and…

Thanks! I'll have to check it out. I know when I tried to use this script in the past he was reluctant to fix that .5 issues on the points. Hopefully he fixed it!
-
Make sure to test different foods with different points values. Is the script rounding off the points incorrectly?
-
You're trying to edit the file code? You have to find the location where the file is saved and open it from there. I have seen this points plus userscript before but the problem with it is that the rouding off is wrong. I contacted the developer to fix it but he was reluctant. I then went about ediing the userscript code…

Let us know how it works for you. Soon I'm going to post a new Sticky topic to explain how you can add Old Points to your web browser on the computer you use so you can see points next to the food items on your myfitnesspal diary.
