I just have to power through it. I get really bad cramps but running seems to help them for me. I just try to motivate myself by thinking about how much better I feel after its over. Hope you feel better soon.

I just sent mine out to have them turned into a quilt. I have wayyyy too many!

nothing. Everything in moderation. I don't like feeling deprived.

Ugh! I got them bad before I started wearing compression sleeves. I have two sets and wear them on alternating days, wash them about once a week and lay them flat to dry. They are fabulous. I have not had a single day of calf/shin pain since the day I got them. I love Zensah, but there are tons of other brands too. Hope…

You, my friend, are amazing!

I am pretty slow. I only run about 12 minute mile. So I guess that puts me at about 5 MPH.

1. My Mizuno Wave Rider 16's. 2. Zensah Compression Sleeves for my Calves 3. My 5k 101 app, but I only have two more runs before I graduate and need a new app 4. Great music! 5. My pink lace Aerie Sports Bra.

I was thinking I might do that, but just do it slowly, maybe doing each week 2 or 3 times over. Do you reccomend a specific program?
-
Its actually week 8. I am doing a slightly different program called 5k 101. I started using the running mate app based off that program before i knew about c25k. Week 8 is the last week and it is a big jump from 12 minute runs intervals with 3 minutes walking in between (in week 7) to running the full 30 minutes in week 8.…

THIS! I grew up with Shepards and love them! Post a picture!

Thank you for the encouragement. I am starting to love my runs, especially when I am really sweaty and then the wind blows and cools me off. It gives me a second wind...those moments are my favorite!

Most of what is available near me, and granted, I am in NY is all charity runs, so they charge 20+ for the race so that the make enough for everyone to get t-shirts, medals, and for there to be a good amount going to the charity. That's just my experience.

Thank you! I am sure I will. I think I am going to take one more day to rest. I must have unwittingly tweaked something in my ankle last night (i sprained it in week 4 and had to take 2 weeks off before coming back) it hurts today and its a bit swollen so I am going to give it the day to rest and run tomorrow instead.

28 in NY here.

Week 8 starts tomorrow for me. I just did some strength circuits today, hoping to be able to make it though the full 30 minute tomorrow! Wish me luck!

Just goes to show you, everyone is different. I hated the brooks glycerines. It always felt like a hard bubble under the ball of my foot. I sent them back after about a month of giving them a chance. Now I run in the Mizuno Wave Riders and love them! Definitely go to a running store and get fitted. Everyone is different.
-
Take them back! Tell them what the issue is. Anyone at a running store should be able to tell you what the problem is and fix it by getting you into the right shoe. Good Luck.

Upped my intake for a few days then dropped it back to normal. After that I started doing that 1-2 days per week and weight loss has been steady.

I love you,

I was the same way. Every week I would start the new run thinking I won't be able to do it, but then I surprise myself. I just finished week 7 today and start week 8 on Friday! Running for 30 minutes straight is scaring me, but I hope to surprise myself again!

Thank you so much for this! I did this all last night and my numbers were very close to yours, so it was really helpful to see all the math done for me. Thanks so much, you explained this so well. i hope it works!

I do this too. That way I can see if I need to tweak anything to get more or less of any of my Macro's. It also helps me plan with snacks to bring with me for the day. I think its great for you to do it, as long as you stick to your plan you should do great!
