  • Great thanks :) that's the approach I was going for
  • You're being unnecessarily rude. I'm not saying that my opinion is ultimately right. He asked a question and I'm giving my opinion based off what I've read in nutrition books and what I believe based off that.
  • Sorry eggs are complete protein I just meant another food combination for what you're trying to achieve. @bombshell that's great, but irrelevant to what we're talking about - combining an egg with a banana
  • I would personally choose a different combination of food that gives you a complete protein, but that's just my advice, I'm not an expert :)
  • See this link on food combinations : http://www.funkyforest.com.au/uploads/9/8/5/1/9851580/food_combining.pdf
  • Food combinations are important for digestion. Your body intakes less calories from food if it digests quicker and more efficiently through the system. Fruit combined with foods that have different digestive paces ferments in your stomach, which can cause gas and bloating.
  • Be careful combining fruit with proteins because fruit digests much quicker through your system. So especially before bed I would pick one or the other, depending on what you need out of your diet from the day.
  • My boyfriend of 2 years and I also have an open relationship and communication about our weight, and we have both talked about wanting to lose some weight and having a healthier lifestyle. We talk about it and try to make plans to do certain things but haven't been successful, I find that we both feed in to each other…

Also try drinking a lot more water during the day, I've found this helps with feeling full longer, or tea also. on the bright side, fruit…
  • Calorie intake goal - food eaten + exercise = net calories Your net calories should fall within the range of your food calorie goal. Basically, when you burn energy through exercise, you need to make that amount up - you're body will need more protein, carbs, etc. this is important because your metabolism will slow down…
  • Vega one all-in-one nutritional shake in vanilla chai is great! I've been using it for over a year and really like it. http://myvega.com/product/vega-one-nutritional-shake/
  • I've been a vegetarian for over five years now and struggling with my weight has been in part due to binging at the end of the day on carbs and breads and junky foods. I've found that this is because I wasn't paying enough attention to what I ate during the day. Which was often not enough - being at work or school as a…

  • Thanks for the feedback! I have four that too and am using a fit bit tracker to calculate exercise energy burned which seems to be pretty accurate :)
  • For breakfast I alternate between a smoothie or yogurt with fruit. Smoothie: 1 banana 1/2 cup of frozen strawberries 1 scoop of vega one nutrition shake powder POM pomegranate juice Water 1 serving of Liberte plain yogurt (either Greek or probiotic yogurt), sliced strawberries, blueberries and 2 tablespoons of Qia…
  • So you don't actually manually log any cardio exercise because the fit bit tracks the steps?
