  • Kris... Don't give up!! There are very effective exercise DVDs that you can do at home. I love, love, love going to the gym..love getting out and meeting people. BUT I have not been to the gym in 8 months b/c I found some very effective DVDs that I can do at home, and they take LESS THAN AN HOUR to complete. Any of Jillian…
  • Typical American Marketing/Advertising - encouraging laziness!
  • Lindsey: Not sure...but I know it's high in protein and good carbs (plus the olive oil - good fats). Can't really go wrong with this one. BTW...lentils have the 3rd highest protein content of ALL beans, behind only soybeans and hemp. m2kjenn - I'd be really careful with garbanzo beans...they're calorie and carb dense, so…
  • Bison is a great, lean, beef alternative. Really Lean....and tasty too. I'm a true carnivore, so I'm picky, but Bison really fit the bill. You can also try Ostrich - dark meat, tasty and even lower in fat than Bison. I remember getting some from Sam's Club.

I have a VERY healthy recipe for tuna salad...not like your usual tuna..and it's yummy! I'm posting to the recipe board shortly.

  • Don't worry, that's the way it usually is..I buy natural peanut butter all the time. Just stir it up from the bottom and keep in in the refrigerator. Regular peanut butter (with all the additives and junk) in it doesn't do this 'cause it isn't ..well, natural.. Nothing to worry about!

There are 3 different levels, each progressively harder than the one before it. You can check them out on YouTube.
  • I've done P90X, it was OK, definitely helped me lose some weight and tone up. P90X is primarily resistance training, so if you don't like lifting weights, you may want to try something else. Also, it does require a time committment..each DVD is about 50 minutes or so long. I must admit after awhile the workouts moved a bit…
