You have great self-control! Unfortunately, a lot of people in the US don't.

You were always able to get fresh veggies with entrees. The issue I have with the Cheesecake Factory is the portion sizes! Some of their entrees easily feed three people.

Tuesday check-in: 378 calories for 7.56 miles; tripled is 22.68 miles total!

I say that to my kids now - but I also reasonably control their portions. Not everyone gets the same amount, based on their appetites as well as what I've made for dinner that night.

If you don't already own one, I would highly recommend a salad spinner. It will spin a lot of the moisture out of the leaves and they keep longer.

I so wish that 4.5 pounds wasn't on top of vacation weight gain. I'm having a beast of a time now trying to get back into the 140s though.
-
154. I started lifting again and I'm pretty sure that's what is contributing to the gain.

Monday check-in: 665 cals for 13.3 miles!

Yesterday was 259 calories, 5.18 miles. Rest day today.

I'm not sure what extra you'd have if you got the HRM. You wear the watch to see your readout and the chest strap with transmitter to monitor your HR.

I agree. Of the plain Greek yogurts, I prefer Fage. Chobani left a funny aftertaste to me. I do Fage with a little bit of agave nectar mixed in. Yum!! Sometimes I'll add fresh blueberries, strawberries and/or banana. Love it! I've also used plain Greek yogurt in place of sour cream and mayo when mixing up my tuna.

I drink whey protein post-workout and casein protein at night. I wake up at 4 a.m. to workout and thus I feel the casein is necessary as I don't have time to have something small before working out. I drink the whey because from reading on these boards I gathered it's a good post-workout drink to help in repairing the…

I agree.

Honestly ask yourself: will 2-3 pounds really make much of a difference in my appearance? I can't imagine it would.

That's the first program I used at the first of this year (it was the EA Sports Active 2 with the sensors). I can't remember how many pounds/inches I lost but it was A LOT. The workout is fun; there are different activities for you to do every day you're scheduled to workout. It is what you make of it really. Is it…

Not at all. I was on a cruise a couple of weeks ago and would work out in the fitness room every morning by myself. The room had windows on the deck, where other people were walking or running. Every now and then I would see someone look at me but it didn't bother me as I'm working out for my benefit. I couldn't care less…

231 calories for 4.62 miles today.

I agree about the kids growing too fast. Sometimes I can't believe my baby is six and about to start the first grade! Then I have to sit back and think about my oldest "baby" who's about to start college in a month. Where did that time go???? Did this program have a lot of strength training in it?
-
Much better! But I think that has a lot to do with the CLX/lifting portion of the program. I definitely feel a ton stronger than Insanity and I like that I can keep up with the cardio. I don't take any breaks and when she jumps, so do I. I'm going to eventually do Insanity again. Maybe the second time around will be…

Turbo Fire!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm already on cups 7-9, so put me down for the highest amount allowed today.

I think with the original hybrid schedule, she tried to develop a schedule that would ramp up fat loss, which is why there are the two HIIT months. If you don't really need to burn off any fat (if that's you in your profile pic, you definitely don't!) then doing your own schedule would probably be beneficial. I'm…

I ran on Saturday in a sports bra and my shorts. My midsection definitely isn't flat. I couldn't give a rat's rear-end what other people think. It was already 85 degrees when I went out at 9 that morning! Honestly, it's all about your own comfort level. I don't have the greatest self esteem/body image but I needed to be…

Check-in for today: 358 calories for 7.16 miles.

Oh, and you can definitely count me in for 90 miles on Wednesday. I generally drink over 12 glasses of water per weekday. Weekends are a different story.
-
My scheduled rest day each week is Sunday so that's my preference. This Wednesday is a TF so that's too bad we won't be able to count the miles. Today, 629 calories for 12.58 miles.

152 this week. Still have a few of those vacation pounds to work off, which I'm doing diligently!
