Too bad she didn't have a couple of beers too! Really, who cares?

:flowerforyou: Hi Everyone, I have not had the time to catch up on all the post. I've been away from this discussion for a few days. I am trying to get back on schedule. I am changing my exercise goals for Jul. I started with the goal of cardio/core. I miss my Cathe strenght training and will return to those workouts. I've…

If powders are added then the water is turned into a flavored beverage. I would not count flavored beverages. The idea, I think, is to drink plain water.

I have similar pain in the right leg. Doctor's have not actually given me a diagnosis.. I found that yoga and leg exercises help. This month I am trying to focus on building my "core." A strong core will help the pain. Good luck.

155 to 160 is a good weight for me. I have a large frame and anything else is hard for me to maintain. Years ago I was that weight and I wore a size 9/10. I would have to almost starve myself to weigh under 155 pounds.

Junk looks much better in the trash than on you. Plus, don't treat yourself ilke a garbage can. Throw it away. As for your MIL, you can ask her to buy personal portions.

For a guilty or not guilty verdict ALL 12 MUST AGREE. I wish the media would focus on real fact reporting and stop playing lawyers.
-
Agreed, but who want to hear a real legal perspective? Lawyers and jurors have to follow rules of evidence and jury instructions. Cases are much more interesting and defendants are certainly guilty when news reporters spin the facts and incite emotions. The prosecution did not present a case sufficient to…

:flowerforyou: Hi Everyone. I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. I've been busy with cleaning, food prep, cooking, and entertaining. I did not log food for Sunday - had various items, but did not have a really bad day. I feel good that I don't feel bad about what I ate and drank. Today I'm tired and will rest,…

Love my Kitchen Aid. I tried a VitaMix, but was not impressed with the power as compared to the price. My KitchenAid does pretty much the same for a fraction of the cost.

 :flowerforyou: Hello Everyone, Barbie, your dedication is inspirational. I joined MFP in 2009, but did not begin to seriously use the site until March 2011. This group has helped me stay focused and encouraged. Michele, I completed Cathe’s Hiit DVD workout. It is challenging; lots of jumping. The…

Most of my pounds were lost during the weeks that I had my last meal/snack no less than two hours before I went to bed.

Lisa, what you said makes a lot of sense. I think I've been denying myself food for so long that I am afraid to eat. I've trained myself to think that less is better. Interesting how I never really lost weight eating less.

I think the formula is for maintenance. The objective is resetting the metabolism. Eating over 2000 calories a day is probably fine if the focus is whole foods and not sub-foods. Throw in some execise and the body wil adjust.

:drinker: Yesterday, for the first time, I used peanut butter powder in a protein smoothie. I loved it. Tthe taste was great. Two tablespoons was only 45 calories compared to about 200 calories for 2 tablespoons of prepared peanut butter. The powder can be used in various recipes. I learned about the peanut butter powder…

Amanda, that was so thoughtful. Thanks.

Today was the first time I tried it. I mixed mine in a smoothie; the taste was great! . I loved it and will continue to use in smoothies.

:flowerforyou: Hello  Cathy, how wonderful that your son graduated and did so on the Dean’s list. That is a great accomplishment. :drinker: Birdie, Thanks for sharing the Kale recipe. I’ve copied it and will try it one day. Sounds as though it will go great with some fish or chicken. Gail, welcome. Thisis a…
