I had the Garmin a day and sent it back. It wasn't the gadget so much as the way information is displayed in the app...so it's back to the Fitbit ONe and Polar FT4 :/

That's almost exactly what I did!!! I stopped coloring and let my silver roots get a bit of length on them and then went to my hairdresser and said, "BUZZ it off...down to the silver." She was like "are you sure"...and I said "no...so you'd better hurry!" :D

Started getting sprigs of silver at 16, started coloring at 18....and finally stopped coloring at 42 (I'm a couple months from 48). Most glorious thing I ever did!!! I'm completely silver now....get stopped and asked DAILY "is that your real color?" I regret having spent all those years (and all that money) to cover…

Congrats on recovery!!! :flowerforyou: I have both the Fitbit Force (they no longer sell it but I didn't return mine during the recall and still use it with no problems) and a Fitbit One (for those days I want to wear a regular watch but still track). Both products perform very well!!! Linked with MFP and other Fitbit…

Our self worth is NOT defined by what OTHERS think of us...never has been. This is a LIE we are told over and over and over from childhood to adulthood and it isn't long until we BELIEVE it. STOP. BELIEVING. IT. Want to run? GO RUN. Put on your headphones, put on some good tunes and just run. You don't even have time to…

I chose 10 lbs more than my weight when I got married 22 years ago. I'm still 5lbs away from that target and have decided on maintenance at a healthy weight rather than a specific number...and I'm perfectly okay with it. I look better, feel better and all my labs are within NORMAL limits again....so I'm happy at the weight…

Absolutely! Only take out what you intend to eat, log it, put the rest away and close out your diary! GREAT ADVICE :drinker:

1) increase fiber and protein intake at dinner time (or last meal of the day) 2) if you get late night munchies...choose fresh fruit. 3) only eat in the kitchen or dining area and limit distractions while eating. concentrate ONLY on the food you're eating and ENJOY it. 4) chew your food until it almost dissolves. 5) sip a…
