I've heard "thick" before. Once I was also called Rubenesque.

I'm at 27% (skin fold measurements taken by my trainer). When I take them and calculate via Bodymedia, it gives me 24%. I started at 43% on bodymedia 75 weeks ago.

You should follow her around and tell her what to eat all of the time.

Totally worth the money to go to a running store and have your gait checked and consult with someone about what type of running you do. I'm on my 4th pair of shoes since I began running a few years ago. My first three pair were Saucony (which I was buying at a big box sporting good place) but my most recent pair is Mizuno…

One can eat 'clean' and chicken skin would be included in this lifestyle, as long as it's from non-processed, no hormone, no antibiotic chicken. It's the chickens raised without skin that should scare someone into eating clean.

<---- That kind, She's a rescue named Sailor! She's closest to a Bo-Chi.

Yes! I could credit every time I've been svelte in my life to running. On the flip side of that I only weigh myself once a month (if that) and that's reluctantly, but when I really work running in to my program, it seems like suddenly all my clothes are baggy. Be sure to add a little strength training and squats, maybe…

I have based mine on research, working with a professional and on my bodymedia arm band. MFP is a decent starting point but it's a bit too 'cookie cutter' for my taste.
-
Me! However, I only weigh myself once a month. My diary is open to friends if you want to get some ideas. I stalled out when my last trainer had me eating too little. I was constantly hangry, too.

Never because I don't follow people home.

Recently I found a great set of 1 and 2 cup glass micro/oven/freezer safe pyrex with lids at Grocery Outlet (discount chain) for super cheap. I bought several sets. I use them like crazy and love that they are small for portion control. Admittedly, I don't own a microwave, so I'm not sure how they heat that way, but…

I am not anemic but my iron count is always just above anemia, it seems it always has been, and I DO NOT take a supplement. I have been turned down twice to donate blood because of these low levels so I do my best to eat iron rich foods for energy, and because I do want to donate blood when I can. You can adjust your…

Got it. I promise to NEVER utter those three letters together again.

Yes. I completely made up that whole bit about it coming from the WW message boards (member circa 2006-2011). I like how she gave credit to MFP for the term journey though.

You guys are cute. I was being as equally as sarcastic using that abbreviation as I would have been on WW message boards (another abbreviation!) and I realize I'm new. I'm rather shocked you hadn't heard it before me though.

Obviously you aren't a weight watchers crossover. I'll get over it.

I would classify that as real actual aerobic dancing. I would also consider trying that.

I've had my bodybugg for about 2 years (wore it for about 6 months, stopped and just put it on again a few days ago), I think it's the old version of bodymedia. I pay $7 a month to get my stats and then plug them into MFP. Originally, I went with BB because I thought I more than likely would throw a fitbit in the laundry…

Hey! I'm a femme identified wife of a transman. I've always struggled with weight but am so close to goal! Only more recently have been struggling with presenting so hetero in appearance, I am sure it comes up in other trans relationships. Thankfully my husband isn't so rigid as general population perception and he's…

If you are a fan of Portlandia and John Waters-esque films, I thought "Rid of Me" (Netflix streaming) was pretty good. The beginning is jarring, but it gets better. And I have to mention for books Michelle Tea's Valencia or The Chelsea Whistle, which maybe I'm biased just being a San Franciscan and knowing some of the…

http://www.willpowermethod.com/ I'm a big fan of Willpower Cardio yoga. It actually does make me feel like a ninja.

In this forum, someone mentioned they adjusted their weight loss goals to half a pound a week and that helped them with the slow process to goal without feeling really deprived (or something to that effect).Maybe that's what you need right now. I adjusted mine today. Honestly, I just try to eat within a 1400-1600 cal…

I weigh in once a month, at the end/beginning of the month and set my goals from there. I also take tape measurements and skinfold measurements. I would drive myself insane with a more frequent weigh in. Coincidentally I have consistently dropped body fat % when my scale weight has stalled out.
-
I have been accused of the latter a time or two.
