@Kettle_Belle14 and @amusedmonkey I don't comment much on forums either.....but my goodness, thank you!! I am still in the overweight category with a bmi of 28.9 and I have no idea of my body fat. I've never had it measured, thinking about it now I think I would like to just to see. I have never in my life felt so shapely…

I honestly don't get why keeping boobs and butt are prioritized over being healthy. If a man doesn't appreciate you for the qualities that you have, then what the hell are you doing??? It's my body....i have to be comfortable, I have to love myself. I hate to say I don't care what my husband likes but honestly I don't…

I'm 163# and 5'3 in this photo. I run 3-4x and lift 2x weekly. I am actually loving how I look right now.... With clothes on. Well, without clothes too for that matter. I have worked so hard and I have seen awesome changes in the 'worst' places on my body(thighs, butt, stomach). I still want to lose about 25# but I'm…

I had a reduction like 11 years ago, and was not working out like I am now. I do remember the 1st month being tough, sore to move arms, jumping made it sore...however I had a little bit of a challenge with the drains and those hurt worse than the actual surgery for me. Which I think is why it was sore to move my arms. I…

I started running September 2014 doing a C25k and running my first 5k in November 2014. In January 2015 I started training for a 10k I have signed up for in May. It's been a little slow getting past 3 miles for me bc of some slight injuries. My first 5k time was 39:20 and now it's 34 min. My longest run so far has been 4.5…

I've always wanted thinner calves.... it didn't bother me much in high school but I didn't wear skinny jeans, boots, and heels all the time either. I was also close to 30+lbs lighter with an eating disorder. Smh For me it's not all about the calf per say either, I would like a smaller leg in general from knees down to…

I"m 5'3.5" and I currently weight 167lbs after having lost 47lbs. My original goal is 140lbs...because as an adult I have never even been close to that. I might reconsider when I get there because as it seems my goal is too high comparative to others at my height. I have always been on the muscular side and I have been…

I'm 31 and on here everyday. I've been active since September of last year, still trying to lose 30 additional lbs. Add me if you want.

I got married, became a full time mom of 2 boys(5-8) and started caring for my very sick father all in the same month, while still working part time. Along with gaining weight I also went a little cuckoo... Go figure. Took 6 years for me to finally find a balance... Thank God I finally did! I'm down 47lbs and only 27lbs to…

I wasn't able to cross my legs before either. I've lost 46lbs and just recently figured out that I was now able to. Lol....i never thought about it as a NSV but now I get it. However I carry a lot of my weight in my legs still...i have 28lbs to go so maybe it will get even easier. Good luck to you!

Lost 46lbs Method: Calorie counting, started running(c25k), started running more, lifting 2x weekly and cross training 2x weekly. Workout 5 days a week for at least 1hrs. Started in Sept 2014 and only 26lbs to go. Yay!

SW: 213lbs CW: 168.8lbs GW: 140lbs I'm eating between 1500-1700. I just hit overweight rather than obese! Wahoo! I have never been at a healthy weight as an adult so my first main goal is just barely in the healthy range. I might readjust when I get there.... But for now I'll be thrilled worth 140. I don't eat calories…

I've lost 43lbs. Since September 2014 and I have roughly 30 to go. I started a C25K in September, loved it, and now I'm training for a 10K. I run 3x a week, strength train 2x a week and cross train 2x a week. I count calories and try to not eat processed foods...I still eat some just not nearly as much as before. Started…

I started a C25k (couch to 5k) when I started my calorie counting. Found a new love for running, I am now training for a 10k. I started not knowing a thing, honestly never counted calories before, total noob. :) so I started at mfp recommend calorie intake to lose 2 lbs a week, I was eating 1200 and it felt like I was…

I've lost 43lbs so far and went from 213 to 169 in 5months. I'm still planning on losing 30 more, my goal would to get to the high end on 'healthy' on the bmi chart which would be 140lbs. before at 213 UGH! 183lbs here 175lbs 170lbs face shot at 169lbs

Great Job, your a beautiful lady regardless! So sorry about the baby....I understand how hard that can be.

I did a C25k in September of 2014 and ended on thanksgiving. I started at 213 and ended at 183.7lbs I'd say a decent almost 30lbs loss. I started 70lbs over weight though and counted calories pretty vigorously not having many 'cheat' days. I ate on average between 1500 and 1800 so I wasn't starving. My first 5k I was at…

Congrats and good work. My husband and I are actively trying for a baby :) but no luck yet. I love reading about healthy(and active) pregnancy's and hoping when the time comes for me I will continue to log and exercise daily. Thanks for the insight!

Hi vismal, I started in September 2014 I've lost 40.3 lbs by running and counting calories. I would still like to lose 30lbs to be on the high side of ' healthy' for my height. I'm 5'3 and 172 right now. I use the method TDEE, my calorie goal is 1750 but I normally eat between 1500-1650 calories a day. I run 4 times a week…
